  1. My 1.3 liter 4efe has a 5 gear. I don’t know where to read if it’s a C54. It has 200k Km. What would you do with it to make it run smoothly with the 4efte? Thanks!
  2. About what you said here. Do you mean that I should use the 4EFE Corolla gearbox on the 4EFTE engine? can you please elaborate this a little more? I could buy the 4EFTE engine without the gearbox if what I understood is possible.it would be cheaper pf course. I don’t know if the shell could be adapted though. I read in the past that the 4EFE Corolla gearbox is too weak to hold the 4EFTE engine power. I trust your advice. Thanks again
  3. You’re saying that the best choice is to buy the full engine with gear box without LSD? I need the 4efte gearbox because it’s stronger to resist more HP if I got it right. Am I right? Thank you.

  6. Here she is. Inside is practically new after 22 years. Everything is working perfectly. I did the silent blocks, the springs and the shock absorbers, the windows and the exhaust. Hertz 2 way bi amplified sound system piloted by Alpine. saving the money to buy the engine as soon as they find a decent one.
  7. I am so happy about what you just said. I love that car and I’ve owned it since 1998. My 4efe runed 231k Km. No issue. I decided to spend money on it because she deserves it after all. I’ already spent €4000 including a 850 Watt RMS Hertz sound-system. I’m a music producer. A sound engineer. That’s my world. So now I am stubborn about upgrading the engine. A sleeper. Unfortunately there’s only a shop 300 Lm away from Milan that buys engines and can do the SWAP even if they’ve never done a Corolla E11. It’s a passion. I won’t stop! i’ll post some pics.

  9. Again, I really appreciate all this information you’re sharing. I hope that other people in my situation will take advantage of it. This said, I would like a piece of advice regarding what you just said about buying a complete 4efte engine with &0k Km from Japan. The shop that would research and buy the engine for me told me they never had a single issue with JDM engines shipped from Japan. My concern comes after what you said that the engine could be damaged or close to a brake-down. As the engine only would cost me at least €2600, €1000 labor to swap it with the 4efe Corolla E11.   13. I appreciate your explenation. A few questions. What shound the mechanic do to adapt the Corolla front and rear engine supports in order to get 4efte smoothly in? When Can you email me the diagrams or give me a link to do a smooth electric pin ECU connection? Can you list the items I have to buy extra? For example, water pump, belts, etc? I want to have every extra component before I get started. Also, I need a front Intercooler. What do you suggest? Thanks!
  14. Hi guys. I am looking for information to reduce errors while swapping a 4efe with a complete manual gear 4efte engine in a Corolla E11. I’ve read a lot about it but nobody who has done it himself has wrote a post description with a TO DO list. My mechanic works on Subaru cara and he needs a few tips to reduce labor time. The plan is to instal a new IC to be aure it becomes a sleeper. The manifold has to be adapted. I’de like some advice about brands and manifold length to keep turbo efficiency high.which exhaust diameter should I mount? Any custom silencer works better? Any primary exhaust t
