  1. Hi. What about a ep91 4efte loom in a 1998 E111 Corolla? What do you suggest? I’m looking for diagrams to do the pin work.
  2. @Sam44 @Claymore good to hear you’re doing well! Can’t wait to start the SWAP and take pics through the whole process.
  3. It’s been a while. You can’t believe how frustrating it is to wait for an engine in a crate stuck somewhere in the Ocean. It seems that many carriers or way behind schedule because of the crisis. I’ve been waiting since January and probably will have to wait until April. How are you guys? @Sam44 @Claymore I put a jab hood on my Corolla. No we need the horsepower 😉
  4. And I am grateful to you all. It's my mechanic. He wants to try the AWD. I'm just helping because he does't speak English. I will stick to my plan. After all this effort it has to come true!
  5. Here I am with a crazy idea. 4efte swap matched to 4efe gearbox in a Corolla vs 4efte (my default project) or 3sgte swap matched to a 7afe 4WD gearbox/tranny. I found a rare Corolla 4WD that has been sold only on the Swiss and Australian market for 2000 euros ish. I spoke to a guy in Germany that owns a AE115 with 3sgte. He said that the tranny holds the torque even if it should be for 110 ps. The option is to buy a GT Four ST185 or ST 205 3sgte with AWD tranny and rear subframe. What do you think about it? @Sam44 @Claymore
  6. It was good thanks. A bit worried about the geopolitical situation. Brexit is pain in the b now that I have to purchase parts from the UK...got a new idea for the Corolla. You'll tell me your thoughts!
  7. Good to hear from you. Hope you're having a good time in the US. I need to go back but visa expired so it will take ages now...
  8. About the crank seals. How complicated is it on this engine to replace them? This is my personal question of course as a non-mechanic.
  9. @Sam44 @Claymore Hey guys. I was wondering what the procedure to change the 4EFTE timing belt is? does the valve cover have to come off or can it be done only operating on the side of the engine? Thanks
  10. Yeah my bad. There is a lack of forums who discuss this topic. Merry Christmas.
  11. Do you know someone who has done a WRC Corolla replica? What I know so far is that it’s a 3sgte GT Four engine and AWD transmission. What I don’t know is how to adapt it to the Corolla and what part of the Cdlica chassis has to be swapped and what has to be kept from the Corolla. I checked on the web and it wasn’t easy to find hubs, rear and front axle shafts and stabilizer arms. Also, would the Corolla shock absorbers fit the Celica hubs or would it be necessary to install Celica shock absorbers? Thanks
  12. A friend of mine was thinking to start a Corolla E11 WRC replica project and he want to find the missing parts to get chassis right and wheels on get the swap done and work on the body kit. The engine comes from a Celica GT Four ST205.He would keep the internal semi-original for the moment. First questions are. What parts of the transmission and chassis has to be brought/swapped from the Celica ST205L GT Four and what can be left Corolla original. Concerning the GY Four transmission, What about the Celica and Corolla have track and wheelbase differences? Are there any? What’s th
  13. What about a 3sgte gearbox on a 4efte?
  14. Any info in 2020 about adapting a rear differential on a 4efte?
  15. I still have to clarify how the car will react to the ECU swap. I didn’t study the electrical part but I presume that the ECU controls the engine. What controls electric windows, immobilizer (door opener), light, defrost, windscreen wipers? What I am not sure about is what controls the rest of the electric parts in the car. Fuses and relays controls all the internal electrics? Is everything are going to work when I switch to ECUs? AC has it’s own chip such as the map sensor under the hood. What else? Thanks
  16. There is no Starlet Glanza V with AC? i read on an Australian forum that the AC mount holes between 4efe and fte on the Starlet are the same. The compressors look different but hopefully the share 2 holes. Size should be fine as both have the exit pipe right next to the manifold. Fte pump 4efe pump
  17. Canada is nice. I’ve played in Toronto once. looking at the last details before I purchase the engine. Should arrive from Japan soon. I took the pictures to check distances between the Corolla gearbox front mount and the 4efte cat to understand spaces. Was also figuring out the Corolla AC pump encumbrance. I never seen the 4efte engine with the AC pump. The 4efe AC compressor main liquid pipe exit is very close to the 4in one exhaust. If you look at the 4efte you’ll see the same pipe almost touching the turbo. Does this mean that my AC compressor will properly fi
  18. Same here. We have 22% VAT (iva) and 6/7% border taxes, that depends on the item category, value and quantity. That means around 30%. Experts suggest to tell the seller to put all the items information on the box to avoid delays at the border.
  19. It’s cool that you get the parts from Europe or those you don’t find here come straight from Japan. Apparently taxes are included. I don’t think I have to pay anything. I bought parts before from the US and taxes were included and managed by the company. check out my list of parts that should complete and engine refreshment. The fuel pump was too expensive. I will buy it from The websites you pointed out.
