well a succesful saturday for me, got my car detailed by a mate of mine who does it for a living, he really came up trumps and my car looked awsome, came up so much nicer than i could have imagined. he used some type of metal polish on my exhaust, whatever it was made it shine oh so good and imo miles better than autosol also got some pics of my front mounted air filter (these were taken before car was cleaned) all pics were taken on a camera phone also repainted all my wiper arms, as they were all rusty, really to make such a difference.

well to be honest it was done because i was told a manifold i bought would fit with the blitz/autobahn pipework, and unfortunately it didnt. and i needed the car to go to france with, so for the time being the pipework was bodged, its really not that pikey to be fair mate, maybe its the reflective lagging makes it look worse. but re-routing the piping is next, it's just a bit difficult when your trying to keep the a/c, and it's not really ideal to clock the turbo as im using an actuator, and will need to get brackets made up. another reason it hasnt been done before it got tuned was because

i wanna know how the fuck you managed to get it that cheap, i'm 22 with 2 years no claims, and cheapest i got was £1300, with all mods declared gt running about 200 @ fly. @ i got a qoute on a siera old skool cossie, and it was £1500 through gocompare.com, and i bet if i rang some specialists it would be cheaper and easier to insure than my gt, half because it's not an import.

it's definately fuel cut mate, it wont make a difference how far the gas peddle is pushed really, fuel cut happens between 0.85 and 0.93 bar. how far you press the loud pedal determines how much boost you gonna get. i would suggest to do what enzo said. process of elimination mate. if it doesnt solve it, you can put it back

i didnt say it would make it run rich, i said he should run the car rich. the manifold doesnt make the car run rich, thats just silly. you can use 1bar on the stock mani if you tune the car on the rich side, now providing you dont go everywhere full throttle, it will be fine, i was running it for 1 year and half, while i saved up the cash for another manifold. unfortunately the car got written off by a transit, so no longer have the car, but i know the engine is still in use, as it was put into another starlet. and it's not just runner 3 that is restrictive, runner 2 is almost just as rest

to save fucking about changing manifolds etc, and to save spending time porting out the mani, just run it at 1bar, it will be fine for a few months, if you run it slightly rich. i know this as i have done this, just dont rag the shit out of it because it will go bang otherwise. but the safest way is to run it at 0.8 bar.

right bought a manifold off sikilla mart in may, was told it would fit with a blitz/autobahn intercooler, when i fitted the manifold it didnt fit, i was also told the standard intake pipe would also fit and it never, as the plastic pipe was actually touching the manifold. also the flanges were still warped from the welding when i received it. also the thread that is tapped for the manifold to turbo studs, are not the toyota size thread which i was also very dissapointed with as i had to make my own studs, more time and money wasted. anyway finally got it all fitted and it was blowing, aft

awsome. my mates rad looks the same as that (but isn't pink), and assumed (the mother of all fuck ups ) it was a glanza rad. may i ask how much that set you back? or rather how much it would cost if i were to buy one? i shall be after a new uprated rad in a couple of months (gotta get the holiday season out the way)
