dream car this is like cant beat a supra!

cars going to the garage tommorow new belt and coolant along with fitting the new thermo. fingers crossed thats all that needs to be done

i kno, i am hoping that i havent done any major damage to it thow, the cylinder head etc big job, big money!

right checked my car just a min ago, i can actually see now becouse its day light. my belt has snapped the 1 closest to rocker cover if you kno what i mean. i was getting them bloody changed on thursday as well becouse of the noise it was making. so basically thats the problem isnt it?? if that gets fixed it will be sorted wont it? i hope driving the car since that had snapped hasnt casued any damage else were

thanks very much guys for all the responce making me feel better. i think the thermostat must be dead becouse i dont get any hot heat inside the car its self so thats a defenent yes to change. like that when got the car was getting both the belts (not the cambelt) changed on (thursday) as well due to making sqeeky sounds. i noticed as well when i filled my coolant bottle up, looked at it again when came to a stop was empty

got in the car just before to pick up my girlfriend, started driven for about 20 mins and seen some lights come up on the dash, it was my battery light and temp light. looked at my temp gauge and went sky high. so quikly pulled over,lifted my bonnet and loads of steam started coming out looked at my coolant bottle and the lid was off and the coolant bottle was empty. waited for 30 mins for everything to cool down. filled it back up with some water and filled the raidiator up then moved on. got home but temp still going higher. i am totally GUTTED i have just got the car like a month ago i just wanna cry badly can any 1 please please please advice/tell me what the problem could be????? i hope to god this isnt major i was all excited bout getting this motor as well and it seems like its just turned into a disaster!!! my red n/a ran with no problems and was so reliable, so going from that to my GT its *ucking really getting me pissed!

this is crazy, went for a drive there and it seems to be not making them revs sounds wen cuming to a stop the car feels smoother to drive some how. the guy did plug his computer in it and all it said on his screen is please wait (kept saying that for 10 mins or sumthing) so he thought its not going to access your computer in your car. can that of reset the computer in my car?? becouse its not making the revs sounds anymore when cuming to a stop its weird dont kno whats happend. didnt cost a penny n all.

had somebody come round to do a diagnostic test on my car, his computer couldnt bloody pick up the computer in my car dont kno why, says imports have problems getting diagnostic tests done. dont kno what to do now! any ideas?

i have had a good look and nothing all pipes and connectors seem fine i just dont have a clue. like said on here could be the idle control valve which i dont have a clue were abouts it is.

na mate defently not, it sounds like reving sound basicly, its getting me well stressed out ahhhhh.

when i drive my car for about 30 mins and say am in traffic and need to come to a stop, i put it in nutueral, my car seems to make a reving sound basically on the revs it goes to 2000 revs then back down does that untill i put it in D then move on. is that normal or do i have a problem, ive heard people say its kooling down the turbo,the oils are lubricating it so it doesnt sees up. but to me i dont like the sound doesnt sound healthy. does this happen to any 1 else? what could be the problem or is it completly normal. is it becouse it a auto? thankys people

speed tape, avent got any, couldnt i just use black masking tape or sumthing? i will get a breather filter for the rocker cover but need to find 1 first . any suggestions on were could get 1 from?
