  17. i honestly would not be up to that i have no knowledge of this kind of stuff il have to get a mechanic to have a look...the steering has now gone very heavy i fear the power steering has gone..its not so much a struggle to turn the wheel even at take off as some people describe having no power steering but its definitely heavier than earlier today any ideas??
  18. there is a knocking noise on the left hand side when reversing with the wheel turned entirely and a faint knocking when driving at any speed..i was told the cv boot/joint?? was starting to take a turn for the worse but i dont know enough about cars or what it is to know what it done or if it would effect handling...is this most likely it? any idea how much to fix ?
  19. hope i can get some help with this il try explain it the best i can.. in the last few days my car has started to jerk a bit to the left if i go over a small bump/pot hole or speed ramp..and the steerings very jumpy when going over a bad road. when turning a corner the steering seems very sluggish its just not turning like it used to it can veer to the other side of the road a bit if i dont give the wheel a good rotation..at first i thought it mite have been tyres going flat but there all ok.. could it be the tracking ? its all i can think of i never had it re done after i fitted speedlines after it was always on steelies..someone mentioned the power steering fluid but i doubt its that? any help greatly appreciated as im going on a longish drive tomoro and would like to try get it sorted in the morning!

  23. im pretty sure apples not too big in japan?
  24. i understand all that and i have in the past declared everything even the air filter, i just thought the answer was bit smug and narky for such a minor engine change
  25. i wouldnt say the change to 4efe to 5efe is a big enough gap to warrant a look down your nose attitude in the event of not declaring it to insurers, the 4efte swap provides a significant boost of power coupled with a braking system not made for such meaning it could lead to an accident and the feeling of boost to someone who hadnt had it before could bring about a bit of careless driving also so that should be declared in full in my opinion.
