if you want it gone id say 3000 pound for what is just a nice spec pre facelift model, the prices some people are advising would barely be acheived for a 98/99 with the same or better spec, across the pond here in ireland 96 spec glanzas are sellin for dirt, seen one with a full jam kit for 3000 euro.

alright lads, was removing the bump strips from my car the other day and took off the first side and noticed some sort of bond had been used to refit them in the past, this is only the drivers side the passenger side bump strips just had the usual nasty glue is there anyway to remove this safely without to much bodywork damage??ts not looking to good at the moment

i second idrees..Stuck in a rut for an alternator last week and got one from gary, possibly the quickest delivery and send out of anything I've bought from the internet and top lad to deal with. couldnt have been better

its not french:P but apart from that there more easily tunable engine wise but with the right set up and money you can get the handling ace too which is the probably the only advantage a stock gti would have over the glanza. But im only an n/a man so il let the turbo heads convince you more

if your just after it for the sleeper-ism(word??) why dont you get a glanza or gt and put the n/a body parts on it:P mite be the first n/a rep and your insurance will be under a gt/glanza!

well he said engine bay cover so i assume it be some kind of perspex cover for the whole engine as opposed to it being out in the open as it is now or being behind metal sheeting??

everything would be fine as far as i know except for the sideskirts as you said...this sounds like it could be a really interesting project!
