Thats strange we ended up getting a gt turbo quadlight because the condition of the Glanza's around were below poor condition and the GT's were brill! There are very little difference's between the 2 but the Glanza packs better safety features and a little more weight nothing you'll notice on the road.

Good advice to change the manifold but the third piston wouldn't blow in a matter of months! I ran 1.2bar on old ct9 standard mani etc for 2years before turbo seals went the manifold cracked all the way through the third runner and was irrepairable. I had the TD04 etc though so didn't matter (Also I don't thrash my car everyday) and the engine is in great condition I compression tested it and 170 all round. Advice is when raising the boost change the manifold 1st get a decat which makes response much better and then follow guidelines above fcd rrfpr boost control and setup on rolling road.

A TD04 at 0.8bar will give around 200bhp I did my complete conversion for less than 900quid with fuel controller.

with the TD04 you'll need some fabrication skills or go for WickedEP's Hybrid td04 option that fits with a standard radiator. or do what I did and source everything second hand for next to nothing and get a second hand td04L off scoobynet. With the correct settings you can easily achieve 270+bhp with this turbo. It's very well matched to the 4efte engine really. A lot of people forge the engine above 230bhp but a few people from different countries have found a good condition engine can handle power above 300 on standard internals quite reliably if tuned correctly. Any questions can be answered relatively easy now as there are plenty of people now that have done this conversion although I scrapped my Aircon some do keep it. Andrew
