The past few months I've been doing alot of reading trying to find out the best ways to get more power out of the 4EFE. It seems that with alot of mods (exhaust/exhaust manifold especially) it moves the powerband further up the rev range. With these sort of mods that will mean the power is at the very top end of the revs, possibly making the car unresponsive at low revs which means having to thrash the tits off it to get it to go anywhere. With the Corolla inlet manifold and a free flowing airfilter the peak torque is somewhere around 4k to 4.2k rpm and peak power is around 5.5 - 5.6k rpm.

I've been looking into this myself and am quite interested to see what results you get with it. I think higher octane fuel may be needed to stop it from detting with the higher compression, not sure though.

Both cars look great. Haven't seen a mk1 GT in that colour before. Glanza needs a wash though. :surrender:

What happened to the old head and what are you doing with it?

..

I can't remember who but not long ago someone posted pics of their old Glanza with white TE37's.

And being in a Starlet it's even worse. There's always some fucking prick in a Range Rover with full beam AND foglights on and because you're so low in a Starlet their lights are shining right in your face... can't see fucking anything. :surrender:

crush it sorry but I hate corsas
-
your rear end is so nice rear end of the car aint too bad either :surrender: have got to get myself a Glanza spoiler though, it looks so much better

You could go mad and do them orange so they match the indicators.
-
As far as I know it's a direct plug and play. Again - it's unwise but theoretically you *could* swap the 5E in there and nobody would know unless they actually took the engine out. 4EFE cambelt cover. :surrender: But obviously there's a risk... :surrender:

Black on silver looks crap. It's too dull.
-
Was wondering how long it would be until someone posted that lol. I'd rather look into getting a gen 2 MR2 or a gen 6 GT-Four if it was me.
-
Then you'll find the N/A Starlets surprisingly nippy for a 1.3, with a few mods they will beat most 1.4s. As for speeding or whatever, everyone puts their foot down, it's a fact. But knowing where and when it's safe to do so makes the difference between a dickhead and a good driver who's just having fun.

Should have kicked the shit out of him but then again he'd know where you live...

LOL!!!

Am I seeing things or is there a KP near the start?

I check job websites every day. Nothing for me on there. And I aint working in McDonalds.
-
It's fucking crap. I've been out of work for ages because construction/building has gone shit. I'm not going to write much more about it because I don't think people are too bothered about hearing someone elses story but put it this way if I had a full time job now even on as little as £6 an hour I could afford to buy and insure a GT in June.

Paint it red! So much better than silver on Glanzas.
-
It's all about money isn't it though, entertaining films = good money. I don't think "average" people want to hear technical things about cars, they want flames to come out of the exhaust and they want the cars to look like they've crashed through Halfords and then crashed through B&Q's paint section. Which is what pisses me off about the Fast and the Furious series. People think it's all real! Plus the fact that they ruined a Supra by putting a fucking ironin board on the back of one.
-
The release date has been changed then last time I checked it was out on the 12th of June.
-
Despite the bullshit and mistakes in them they're entertaining to watch aslong as you don't take them seriously. 1 was the best, then 3 then 2. I'm looking forward to #4, it comes out on my birthday lol (12/06)... or not...
