  1. Starbus..I think you've over stepped the line with your last comment. This is a car forum and not a place for talk like that.
  2. I can't remember which of these it is as I haven't had a Starlet for a while! Im pretty sure its the one ive circled in red however it maybe the one in yellow. Easiest way to find out is to start the engine and then disconnect the plug, if the engine stalls after a few seconds then thats the idle control valve. Hope that helps.
  3. Just wondering if anyone could show what my car would like in bayside blue if thats possible. This colour.. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2395/160631...60d61f3.jpg?v=0 Onto this car.. Thanking you
  4. WTTC Have you clean/replaced the idle control valve yet?? Did this when I had mine and made a vast improvement.
  5. The ones in the first pic look the best I reckon ;)
  6. Ive just been looking on another forum, mr2oc, and the staff on there have asked us to be vigilant reguarding a "scammer". Basically hes advertizing lots of goods, taken the money and running. Apparently hes joined up to lots of different owners clubs to sell his "stock", he goes by the username of "will_mr2" on the mr2oc but has been know to use the same or similar usernames on other clubs. Just thought I'd let you all know in case something similar happens on here.
  7. Yeah thats how I did mine, cut and block off the hose. You can do it by cutting a wire on the ecu but thats just to complex for me!!!
  8. I would imagine anywhere between 300-320bhp with that little lot. Has he disabled the tvsv? If not then do it asap, they go alot better without it
  9. Agreed. What sort of power is it putting out? CC can handle 350bhp easily.
  10. I would imagine turning it into a GT replica wouldn't be too difficult or expensive really, lots of bodywork parts in the "for sale" section atm.
  11. Yep completely standard part from a set of pulsar alloys. I looked for ages to find the right car for me and this was probably the cleanest GT in the country at the time. Soon as it came into the UK I put a deposit on it and then had to wait 6 months until I turned 19 to insure it! Well worth the wait though
  12. My Starlet cost me 5k 3 years ago and I spent about £400 on mods then lost my job but kept her running for another 18 months, saved up jobseekers allowance to pay for fuel, insurance and servicing!
  13. Cheers for that guys, I needed the measurement for a straight intake on my GT Four but its a lot too big!! But I have sorted it out now. Thanks anyway.
  14. Bit of a random question I know but, does anyone have a Starlet Turbo/Glanza specific Blitz induction kit? If so would it be possible to measure the diameter of the "neck" for me. Thanks in advance and 10 points for anyone who can help me out
  15. Looks smart matey. As said above, a 3-sgte lump is going to be a mammoth task but hope it all goes well.
  16. Mays' "siren" on his Lexus was pure quality
  17. All it needs now is the lexarse lights!! But really, what a cock. Is nothing save from chavs anymore?
  18. I would suggest getting rid of the induction kit and replace it with the stock air box and decent panel filter (unless you are going to have a straight intake setup). Next would be an uprated actuator as the standard one is pish! Then I'd go for a decent exhaust system and de-cat. Also remove the boost restriction, they go much better that way!! But as said above it depends on what you want from the car.
  19. The standard top mount is crap, even on stock boost levels and more so when the weather is hot. Front mount is the way to go, you'll get a little lag but thats better then losing lots of horses through heat soak.
  20. Was waiting at some traffic lights today and this 355 pulls up next to me, lights go green and he floors it and so do I, unfortunately I was in the works van I bet he felt the full force of a mwb Master 100 dci ;) How come nothing like this ever happens when I'm in the car, at least it would have been alot closer.
  21. Follow this guide mate http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2592
  22. Managed to find some pics of my old Starlet. These were taken last year, just after we finished fitting the front mount, not much bumper left as it got accidently trod on and we rescued it the best we could!but hey look at that amount of airflow Ive got coming in!!
  23. Just been looking through the mr2oc and came across this....... http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/ForumsPro/viewtopic...436.html#957436
  24. In that case I stand corrected but that was what I was told when talking to a guy in New York when I went over there a few years back. damn Americans they've made me look like a right tit now
