  1. Real sad to see this Rick! Something I really didnt expect to see!!! But mate, shit happens, we all know what a top job you did when you had her, and after a new owner gets their hands on it you cant expect everything to go rosy. >R< >I< >P< Anyway mate rant over, you got pm over some parts Dibs on rev counter dial cluster and rocker cover! The Joz has dibbed! Peace Out J Z
  2. So wat you reckon? Splitter either needs trimming down to match the lines, or get more aggressive thicker skirts to go with the big lip? Cheers bro! Wud be mucho appreciated! Peace Out J Z
  3. Hey Bobby! Welcome to the site. Your standard shocks will eventually get worn by using just lowering springs. A lot of owners here use this setup and it could last a few years or a few months. Low mileage would be a small advantage but when they go, they will go. Its because the original shocks are mismatched to the lowering spring, so basically wont work as they really should. But it would certainly be a good temporary fix until you can afford decent uprated shocks or coilovers. also 25mm tte springs can be used safely on the standard starlet shocks, as they were factory designed to fit the SR. I jumped straight to coilovers, missing out the lowering springs route as I wanted a proper setup with no hassle later on, but the common logic is there... Im sure some more people who have used/are using the standard shocks/lowering springs setup will be able to give you some decent hands on feedback. Im a guy hooked on suspension by the way lol! I would talk more but I have to go Hope this all helps bro. Enjoy your stay! Peace Out J Z

  6. Hey muddyell! Its great to have another Welsh member on board! You be very welcome ;) As for your choice of 1st car and especially colour, you made a top choice Also your current mods so far sound very tidy and I bet the sounds are well decent. I just have the infinity reference 6x9's and they are awesome. Please keep up the good work and maybe post a few pics of your ride so we can see just how tidy she is. If you have never posted pics before, here's a nifty guide >>Posting Pics Guide<< (You'll soon get the hang of it) Plans sound v.good... Would also be nice to know what year and mileage she is and also what drew you into getting a starlet Peace Out J ;) Z

  10. This is the only decent pic I have James of the old setup. They are certainly better than nothing soundwise! They are toyota 5x4's Im sure ;) Im not into subs etc lol all I have is 6x9's now. Peace Out J Z

  12. Nice effort Alena! Wait til u see mine Mwhahaha! Im doing one for an assignment too! ;) Peace Out J Z
  13. Hey James This was mentioned a little while ago Shelf Im pretty sure that it wont, because the ep91 has the rear brakelight part and the ep82 shelf is more square. You would be a lot safer making your own, or getting an SR shelf which I have available (good nick) but its not spectacular soundwise and not 6x9. I made my own, its wood and lightweight, so soaks up the sound and wont add kgs to the car, does flop around a bit, but my car is hard as rock so cant do nowt bout it! ;) Peace Out J Z
  14. S'all Gravy Boyo! Nearly there!!! Peace Out J Z

  16. Hmmmm lol! Thats a tough one MJ! Only you can decide that one, but from what you said, it will be decent to work on if things work out for you ;) Finally voted Remixa!! Oh la! Peace Out J
  17. Hey Bourkey! The things to check are of course your back brake components, that would be the brake shoes could be done, can also be related to the handbrake/cables as it controls your rear brakes too. And also check your discs and pads are not warped or sticky, maybe need oiled? Best thing to do really is take her to a decent garage and get them to take a look. Im sure more accurate advice will be along soon, but thats my initial thoughts ;) Peace Out J Z
  18. Yep, that means you can wait too Jo!!! ;) Peace Out J Z

Welcome to UKSC Blip! ;) I would go for an SR too if you can find a nice one! ;) But its not the end of the world if you can't! It does come ready with decent starter mods/parts, so you wont have a hard time finding the parts if you wanted to convert into a SR like I did lol. Check out the Extreme EP Rides Section as there are many of us non-turbo starlets owners and you can hopefully see the uniqueness in each of them and what can be acheived. >>> Extreme Ep Rides Section Enjoy Your Stay & Happy Hunting! Hope to see you taking part in the various forum discussions soon! Peace Out J Z
  25. Is certainly sweet mate lol! ;) U not using it for your starlet now? Peace Out J ;) Z
