No worries mate. I have heard of Apiro and their flyers/mini catalogues come free sometimes inside mags like Redline etc. They do quite a few bits and pieces tho, but if its an induction kit your after, Apiro probably have a universal one to suit. If you want something thats tried and tested then I'd recommend either an Apexi or Power Enterprise Air Filter or something like the BMC CDA Carbon Fibre Airbox, altho space may be tight, you could always relocate the air filter to the front bumper with a relocation kit (ToyTuning) Boost creep may insue tho, check the tech section for that info.

Thanks for the kind and supportive comments lads. @LiamD, the twin pot conversion may cost a little more, but its certainly worth the effort. Not easy finding a 2nd hand set of calipers but if you do, consider them and slowly gather all the stuff needed. I can't fault the 3G Grooved Disc combo but why not try something different and infinitely better. Its mostly all in the calipers after all. @Bluebear - Thanks for visiting my thread man and Im glad you like the project, rome wasnt built in a day so make sure you hang in there and keep your project alive. You are thinking on the right track mate. Take your time with things, if you do decide to go ahead with your plans they would be very good to see. But by the time you get finished you could have easily got an FTE in her... Joz

The pedal feels a lot more refined Geo. Gradual braking and braking distances are far safer and shorter than before. I think its the Endless pads, they seem to be on another level. Time will tell as the bedding in process is still going on, so a little while until I can do some spirited braking. The way I have the calipers and discs fitted, there was no need for spacers or longer wheel studs thanks to the thicker disc. As for the caliper color, I matched the color best I could from a car colour book. Am seriously considering using that color for other dress up parts, what you reckon? Jo -
Sounds fine to me mate, at the end of the day the spec you'll be using is your own and will be based on what you think is right. Do lots of research man. They used to make conglomerated 4EFE race engines for the old N/A EP80s so there is hope! Its fine to raise the rev limit but Im not sure how much on the 4E due to the rods and if you were to raise it you would need piggy back management at least. I wonder if 4EFTE rods can be used seeing as you are sticking to the 4EFE as they are 'almost' as thick as the 5EFHE rods, but Im not sure if there would be any complications... The valve sprin

Here goes... There are two types of cams you can get besides oem cams. Regrinds or regrounded cams which are whats commonly available, you send in your old cams and the company reprofiles them by machining the lobes to a different shape. i.e Kent Cams, Piper Cams. These are the most affordable way to acquire performance cams but a downside is that there are also limits to how far the stock cam can be reprofiled without upsetting geometry and will not be as durable. If done properly however they would be a good investment for a modified setup. The other type of cams which are billet cams,
