  1. dude bought my mx5 from me, and is a sound guy. Super easy transaction, and a geuine enthusiast.



    just thought it post this as we need to seperate the good people from the bad and i can assure anyone on here can defo buy from him and have no worries.

  2. yeh mate the meisters are good, when i fitted mine tho they were still too high at the back.



    that was a few years ago though so dont quote me perhaps meister can comment themselves, but i believe the next generation of 4 paw coilovers could go lower at the back.


  3. You would use a e153 mr2 turbo box. Bit of converting but nothing major and they can handle a lot of power and torque!

    is that the infamous toyota box that can handle upwards of 600 ft Ibs of torque from factory lol

TimD do me a favour and do one with your gay sarcasm. wms brakes are on tonnes of cars i didnt for one minute think keri wouldnt be able to hire someone fpr an hour or 2 per day to run the online side of things. I thought wms was a very large succesful business as ive seen many things about wms brakes all over the place. I merely commented on the fact that the products are good but the wait time for customers to get pm replys is bad. But i officially retract my statement if things are that difficult. I didnt realise that. And keri i was amused by the way pms were still very slow but i certainly am not amused by a struggling business and hope things improve because as i said the brakes are good.

  5. I take it WMS are just not replying at all now. What the hell is going on with them

    lol mate i used to get a PM reply about once every 10 days from WMS when i enquired about a kit ages ago. getting a few answers about the kits would take approx a month haha

    5+ years on and its still the same? quite amusing really. why dont you just get someone to look after emails and check the forums its not difficult lol

    really frustrating for customers especially considering the brakes are quite good.

  6. cheers lads yeah its gonna go off the road over the winter again in which time i will start collecting the parts. turbo will be a td04.



    a 250bhp mx5 feels not quite as savage as similar power in a starlet, but it will certainly be a far more complete package.


  7. ohh man that sucks the rex was ammmmmazing! and what i read about it she was like a child to you :) i know how it feels to purchase i did it in november last year and i got rid of all my toys and cut down the good stuff in life lol but like you im now getting back into it by buying a glanza :) SVA imports have a really nice clean 98spec @ £4995

    got any ideas for the big boys toy once life settles down ?

    sva imports have something very dodgy about them. they hardly ever put the mileage of the cars and when i asked them what the mileage was on a scoob once they went really funny and started asking me if i was a serious buyer lol well duhhhh

  8. if your 4efte blows up running anything less than 210bhp then its not been built and/or mapped properly. they are a little gem of an engine.



    i do agree though that the b16 is just a beast when it comes to boosting and is technically superior to pretty much anything in its range except for a k20



    the engine in my mk1 1.6 mx5 is supposed to be well built aswell for forced induction.
