I took my bog standard 135k mile 16 year old celica on track and didn't break a thing
-
With the spec of your motor you should be on track!
-
Coolio, link should work now
-
Well the trip is happening for sure, just all depends who wants to come! Plan is to get saving now towards the camp site and once they release dates and prices getting that paid for. The rest of the stuff can then wait

Last I heard there was 3 noise meters, the two mentioned and one other.

Limit at Combe is 105-108 depending on the day
-
Also just to add for anyone who thinks they won't be too strict, having looked into arranging a trackday at Donington there are massive fines to the organiser for cars breaking the limit and not being dealt with!
-
Had a couple fail last time I was at Donny watching some friends, teh Blyton one we ran was a 110db limit and a couple got close. Best bet would be to get it tested before then or get a bung just in case. Static test is't too bad as it isn't under load. Get the screamer pipe going and your power when on track and they may pull you in. It is down to you if you want to risk it or not
-
I believe the limit at Donington is 98db. They can do a test before and there are various testers around the circuit, if you exceed this you can be black flagged and pulled in I would expect yours to fail dude tbh Get a bung

Item Condition: New Price & Conditions: £32/£42 posted with custom dome + 4% PP fees Item Description: Got the option to retail some weighted gearknobs in starlet fitment for £32 ish delivered with a custom domed sticker for the top. Pictures:The Range The 2K ‘Super Cup’ This shifter was particularly designed to offset the ‘heavy’ feel a short shifter tends to give, It adds a little to the length improving the leverage but mainly it is the extra weight in the shifter that adds the inertia, removes the effort and smoothes the shift. (NOTE: not recommended for a standard gear
