We are running another day at Blyton Park on 29th September. All who came to the last day had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed themself, hence me arranging other after being nagged  Plus the last one has a small write up in Banzai July issue For those that do not know, Blyton Park is built on the old Blyton RAF base which was made up of 3 concrete runways. Track days on airbases are good for newbies as they offer loads of runoffs if you get it wrong, but are normally terrible for tyres. When Richard took over Blyton last year he plowed £250k into a new purpose built tarmac track. He laid a new 1.6 mile tarmac circuit for track day and sprint use. This circuit has been designed with input from some of the UK’s leading road test and racing drivers to optimise enjoyment for drivers of all ability in all sorts of cars. It features slow, medium and high speed corners but provides wide run-off areas with no solid objects or barriers to punish the over-ambitious. We also have the option to run two different track formats on the day if wanted There is an undercover area for repairs if the weather takes a turn for the worse It will be an open pit day with time on track being 9.30-5pm (less an hour lunch) and although can run it for up to 60 cars, I will be limiting it to 40ish as per last time which worked well with minimal queues. 29th Sept 2012 based on 40 cars £85 per car (Normally £99+) Every driver and passenger will need a helmet, although the track has a small amount to hire. The noise limit is 105bd. Payments are to be made to Payments@track-ninjas.net via PP gift or add 4.2% on to the cost to cover fees. Those not wishing to pay in full pleae contact me for details Here are a few pics of the day last time (property of Sean Robinson and Rich Smith): More info and chat can be found here: http://track-ninjas.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=280
