There usually plumbed inline with the stock sensor bud, so id assume you would need a gt sensor? not 100% certain though. I know for a face my gfs brother just got his gt fitted with an emanage and the tuner plumbed the 3bar sensor into the stock sensors line.

popping out of gear and crunching into gears is usually the synchros mashed, in which case it'll work out cheaper to source a 2nd hand box

Wheel bearings will creak and make a whirring noise even in a straight line. Could possibly be a cv joint, there under most strain when steering either way. Get it on full lock and slowly go round in a circle, if its knocking its a cv joint shot.Check the boots havent split and let out grease, because the cv joint would have run dry.

ABS is a load of shite in starlets. literally every starlet ive been in with abs is a death trap when you need to stamp on the brakes. Either whip the ABS fuse out and replace if for mot time, or pull the entire system out.Only reason ive not ripped it all out yet is because im being lazy, pulling a fuse is alot easier Id never track a car with ABS.

5-6000? or 5-600? if its idling about 600 you might have a cracked head, but i doubt that if you stopped driving it straight away. Only way to tell is get it tested. hopefully it'll be fine

Yeah there good, if you like all the funky display stuff. i dont personally like stuff like that inside so id stick with a basic ebc. i used to run a profec b 2 and that was perfect. swapped to an aem truboost now just because its a 52mm gauge and it sits in my pillar pod. both are adequate.youll just pay more for the evc because of the display

Alright bud, looking good. This is the first time ive been on here in ages 'because ive just sorted a new laptop out That replical jam bumper, i had to sort my mates one out for him. We tacked some tin to the back where the mounting points supposed to go on the boot line, and fiberglassed 4 layers and then skimmed it with filler. drilled the holes and it was all done. christ knows why they didnt make them with the mounting points like the genuine jam items. maybe they like the idea of only having 2 bolts holding it on lol I wish id painted my engine bay now seeing yours, the engines looking

theres a connector next to the distributor with 2 wires, it should be the black one if you dont know where the distributor is you should get an electrician to do it.. its the thing on the right hand side of the rocker cover, with the king lead going into

i personally would go for a mappable ecu. you pay well over the top for self learning ecus like jam, greddy, sard etc. and they can only handle up to a certain point. go for an emanage blue minimum. ultimate if you can go the extra bit more. excellent value and lots of tuners map them. power fc's get great results too but there harder to get hold of, and to be honest the extra you pay isnt worth it. also think about dastek's for value. lots of people have got brilliant results from the unichip systems

you have a pcv valve on the rocker, so keep that line going to the intake manifold.the other breather line on the far left can go to the can, and the other take off on the can can be left open or put a filter on to tidy up.

if its a mechanical gauge you only need the water line plumbed in, mechanical gauges only need live and earth to light up usually. some cheaper ones need the sensor earthed and a live too. If its a digital display you'll need live and earth on the ignition on line.

If the engine was running fine other than the hg shot, then you might be lucky. definately get it skimmed though or you'll waste youre time. Shouldnt drive it especially on boost with the hg shot

Normally, when theres a grinding / whirring noise with the clutch up, it means the thrust release bearings running dry and had it. thats usually why the noise goes away when you put the clutch down. If you follow my guide on how to replace a clutch , its in the how to section , then you should be fine. id assume the thrust bearings being a prick. did you grease it up? and check the release fork isnt damaged?
