  1. the bloke who did mine hardly checked anything. it was a 15 minute MOT! when i fit my new blitz decat ill be fitting a brand new lambda so it rules that out. ive not noticed any rise in fuel consumption so i dont really know, i do suspect the lambda may be a bit knackered though. where did you get your lambda probe from?
  2. give me about 50 odd years and i may be able to make one!
  3. im gonna go back i time and buy one new. then i will have an immaculate example with 0 miles on the clock. bet that would be worth a few quid!?
  4. properly setup drum brakes are plenty good enough.
  5. what the f**k? its a 1991 and it failed on emissions because the computer said it needed the cat test. he said the lambda o2 reading was too high or something. he let it passed as he didnt know what the fuck was going on either. any views on this?
  6. as an actual handbrake the drum is superior. also generally less problems occur with drums as apposed to discs. if you want to do handbrake turns and slides the drums would be better.
  7. oh, ok! ill go sit in the corner with my dunce hat on
  8. how low is your starlet wylo? it looks extremely low!
  9. it will be a bit of hassle, but not too bad i wouldnt have thought. easiest would be to get the 5efe and not the 5efhe engine with the variable manifold.
  10. it semi, not fully. the packaging is all a play on words to make you think that.
  11. dont corolla brakes fit relatively easily?? think they are just 2 pot though.
  12. set them up correctly and you will get decent comfort. obviously nothing like standard but its all a compromise at the end of the day.
  13. ok thanks. this is what i have found to be the ep82 tracking settings. Camber. -0 degree 15' Plus-or-minus 45'. Toe. 1mm plus-or-minus 1mm. Caster. 1-degree 25' plus-or-minus 45'
  14. could you post up the settings you have for the uk starlet please?
  15. yeah. just wanted to know if it was a simple case of hook the hold one out. clean everything up a bit then stick the new one in! if i ever need to have my gearbox off i think ill get that seal done, just to be sure.
  16. is the crankshaft oil seal easy to change once you have the gearbox ect off?
  17. at the end of the day it depends what you want out of the car
  18. depends what you want it for?? if your sticking with a mildly tuned ct9 powered engine then the arc would be the easiest and probably best option. if you planning on going anywhere near 1 bar on a ct9, or going for a turbo conversion then you will need a fmic
  19. you can get 10w-30. just not very easily
  20. even then a panel filter would probably be as good. especially on an n/a
  21. jap toyotas are meant to use 10w-30. uk toyotas are meant to use 10w-40. thats of this age of car.
  22. didnt think that was delivered! i realise Daves gotta make a bit on each set to make it worth his while. i know they will arrive soon. just seems to be taking ages........ what do you mean by its backfired Dave?
  23. is that £585 delivered? i paid £615 delivered in the group buy. still havnt got them yet though
  24. if the filter is going to be positioned in the engine bay, its a waste of time. whatever make it is.
