Ok, im cancelling my current insurance for my starlet because ive had a cheaper quote from Quinn and im going to run with that quote. BUT (and theres always a but lol).... Im currently studying forestry in college and im looking to start my own tree surgery business as soon as i get my certificates and chainsaw licence in the new year...Im going to need either a cheap run around or a 4x4 to use for work purposes only, i.e for putting all my equipment in the back and not worrying wether it gets wrecked. Now im up against it because im only 19 as it is insurance for the GT isnt cheap but luck

Haha yeah cheers mate, were ok. Shook my missus up a fair bit though she was sick and everything and hurt her neck and all a bit. Was the first car accident shed ever been in ooops. Yeah it held up OK-ish but the real damage is the front corner of the chassis, when you actually see it its pushed a long way back and you can notice it straight away, plus the gap near the windscreen pillar and the quater panel are different on either side now, the end that took the hit the gap is now gone, the radiator is litterally touching the engine and it lost all its water on impact.

Uploaded a pic for you guys to see. Doesnt look much, but let me tell you, its pushed the right hand corner back a fair few inches, the radiator is touching the engine!!! The bonnet is bent down at a right angle at 90 degrees! The pic doesnt show it how it properly is really. All the inner wing and front of the chassis is bent and crumpled. Car pulls badly to the left and rubs so im guessing either chassis leg damage or somthing as well like bent drive shaft or steering arm, im not sure, but its not even close to safe to drive. Deffinate write-off, to repair would cost alot of £Ã

Oiiii not all 106 owners are thick, i for one have had 2 rallye's and am on my quiksilver now. Although it was written off tonight, because yes, its french, and their shit!! Throttle jammed on sent me into the back of another car. wont be buying another french car EVER!! Im going to pay for their damages to their car.....if we go via insurance i will NEVER get insured again i doubt at 19. My insurance was TPFT any way, so i wouldnt see a penny. Thank funk my gf didnt get hurt and its quite lucky it wasnt the starlet. it would have broken my heart then.

Well, what a night. Me and my girlfriend were just driving back up to her parents house and approached a round about ive been to a million times before, i had 2 cars behind me, and a ford focus infront a little way, the focus stoped at the round about for a car to go around, i approached then, changed down into second, brought my clutch back up and then started breaking gradually.......and then all of a sudden the revs shot up and the car just shot forward out of controll, we think the throttle may have jammed on or somthing because my foot wasnt even on the accel. pedal it was on the breaks.

Nahh the guy i bought it off wrote it off ages ago, you may remember him of TGTT forum, he was in a multistorey car park and it closed on him, so he went to go out and they had put a big steel bar accross the ramp, and it was out of line of vision, and he smacked straight into it, demolished the roof of his ep82. ;) Will be in touch mate

Ive been driving around recently with my gf as you do, and spotted 2 places that are possible photo-shoot locations. one is a business park and theres a car park there with no barriers and the lighting is bright white, looks the better place out of the 2. Isnt far from that ASDA where we went. the other is a car park for a landmark in newport, white lighting but not that bright, big car park, empty at night. Also right by the ASDA car park...........we should have gone in there but didnt even dawn on me at the time. Will be doing a trial run soon and seeing what pics of my gt come out like
