Got some pics? Possible Hybrid maybe? Boost Gauge are essential to monitor boost pressure! Would also tell you straight away if it was FCD as you'll be hitting 0.85bar plus...

Overboosting on a stock car.... Interesting! 100% sure? What is it boosting too? Have u got a boost gauge? Did you use a actuator off your old turbo?

Sounds like Fuel Cut to me! It will be overboosting... So if you have an adjustable actuator/boost controller. etc You'll need to adjust to suit.. What is your full spec?

A useable powerband is what its all about... All well and good strapping a hugh turbo to these cars... but if it spools at 5000rpm.... It'll not be much fun on a country road... A decent td05/gt28 turbo can be made to spool similar to a td04 giving you a much wider powerband making a much more useable and fun street car!
