Looking good there Amir!
TRD cap is not for a starlet tho and wont fit...
The Coin Holder, wont fit if you have electric folding mirrors, as the switch occupies that gap!
You coming to Japfest?
Deans work shining as always!
Looks stunning now Krissy mate, lovely and clean setup and should spool like a beauty!
Let us know how you get on with the mapping!
I don't think people have beef with Honda engines there great. I think peoples beef is Honda and Toyota is competition. and putting a Honda engine in a Toyota is like admitting defeat. Or, turning up at a car cruise in a Volvo estate and caravan....
You just don't do it
Imo, 2ZZ-GE would have been the conversion to do. Some of them produce big power boosted and you keep it within the Toyota family
Cams have to be carefully spec'd to suit so many other parts. If your not careful all you'll do is move your powerband further up the rev range. Sometimes completely out of the turbo or engines reach! Taking away its driveability! Hat goes off to you dude for changing a car, loosing 20bhp to gain more driveability! Something that not many people on here would do! What are your plans for this year then? Enjoy it?
I know. Still think 2ZZ-GE turbo would have been nicer
Keep it in the family haha
Gonna be interesting build! Run it up NA first tho, see what you think!
Potential Monster in the making tho!

Someone else would have! Left it wide open there!
Tbh tho, if this was a conversion I would be doing. Id run it up N/A first, get all the kinks ironed out, run it, test the balance of the car, see how it behaves before boosting it!
High Engine mount on passenger side and low engine mount on drivers side... Meaning the engine is on the passenger side and the box is on the drivers side... Only one engine I know of that's like that... B Series Vtec Engines... Also, bit of playing with the URL's of those pictures, its not hard to see the entire album with pics of the engine bay
Yeh Jamie... Its amazing isn't it how different setups can perform better on the road, despite having less power! All about the powerband mate!
Good to see the car home! Get that carpet back in it
