  12. Year: 1996 Model: Reflet X EP95 4 Wheel Drive Tax: 6 Months MOT: 12 Months Mileage: 99,450km Description: ONLY reason for selling this is due to repair costs to repair my Glanza... See my project thread if you are in disbelief. Needs Must. Im Gutted. Interior The interior is absolutely MINT. Carpet, Mats, Seats, Dash the lot. All fully working in Mint Condish... It is fully kitted out with the factory goodies. Toyota Genuine Wind Deflectors Very similar level of spec as a Glanza... Air Conditioning Power Steering Adjustable Steering Column ABS Brakes Remote Central Locking Electric Windows Electric Folding Mirrors Has a full 98 Spec Glanza V Interior with all the darker furnishings (bit more modern then the light grey plastic interior parts!) Mechanics Went through its MOT, with no advisories. There are NO Knocks, Rattles, Squeaks, Bindings. etc It has the JDM 4efe 85PS engine in it. Which is MINT and Low Miles. Oil is Clean, Doesn't use any fluids or smoke. Drivetrain is MINT. Gearbox has no crunches or whines. All the gears select really nice! Clutch is mint. Nice and Bitey! Brakes are mint too. Surprised how good they were actually! Underneath again its clean and not rotten! Any rust there is is just the surface stuff, on the drivetrain. Wire brush takes it off. I just haven't had time to underseal it! It drives straight and true. It is planted! The Traction it has is quite amazing. Due to the low power, wheelspin just does not happen. I've tried it on wet grass, to see how it behaves. Its even more amazing then! I've been up some dry grass hills and inclines NO fwd starlet could even dream of attempting. I can only imagine what a turbo converted on of these would be like! This was my original intention, but needs must as explained above! The Drivetrain Oils were changed for piece of mind, but the old stuff came out really clean! There is nothing wrong with it mechanically! Exterior Here lies its weaker side. Its been neglected quite badly and vandalised in its history too as I understand! There are dents in both the front wings, (I have sourced a Drivers Side JDM wing which ill include) There is a dent around the radio antenna area, which stops the antenna being fully retracted There is a scuff on the front bumper. Odd few car park dings and stone chips at the front. Wouldn't take much to clean her up! It would be worth doing! It also has a N/A Manual mirror on the passenger side. I have a pair of 205 Black JDM Electric Mirrors coming for it from JDM though! On a plus note though, the JDM Front end is awesome. The yellow Gel Badge I've not seen before... I drove it all the way to Japfest and Back 760KM for me! Didn't put a foot wrong, and the last 30mins of spirited driving to keep myself awake was very fun. It does drift if provoked on wet roundabouts! Gutted I have to part with it in fairness, but I want to sell it to someone on here if possible! Any Questions, Please Ask! I couldn't find you until I had to leave Connor, but the GT looked amazing and what you went thru to get it here, you want a medal for! I thought I had shit luck!
  14. Well. A Mad Rush Today! Since my glanza let me down Yesterday! Ive had to: Put some wheels and tyres on this. MOT the car, needed some bulbs and odds and sods for test. Tax the car, Insure the car, Clean it, put a headunit in it. So ive no time for preparation of anything.... Been on it since 10am. Now going to bed as need to be up at 1am! Ill see you at Japfest though people!
  15. This car refuses to go to fucking Japfest! Im not kidding! Japfest 2012 - Gearbox Fails 2 miles from Japfest. Limp it home with no 3rd or 4th! Japfest 2013 - Car has airleaks, doesn't get finished in time. Japfest 2014...... I collected the car on Wednesday, left Race-Tech, all was well, smiles were awesome! Car started running on 3 cylinders while cruising down the A1 in 5th gear. Strange. Few checks, nothing obvious. So went home and gave it a much needed clean! So took it back to Race-Tech this morning... Checked the Wiring, Coils & Injectors. No Luck. Removed the spark plug, to find the fucking element missing. Now for those who aren't clued up to how serious that is, the spark plug tips are made of a very hard material and when they break off they have been known to destroy the entire fucking engine and turbo... Compression Tester came out, and. FUCK ALL COMPRESSION in Cylinder 3. So, Japfest 2 days away, feeling nearly suicidal, fearing the worst. Ben @ Race-Tech got on with stripped the head off the car to see what the fuck was wrong. It took him 38 minutes to get the car to this stage from fully assembled: Amazing Really. At this point it also allowed Ricky to check the engine out as its been 5 years now since it was built! Luckily for me, and I apparently have to understand just how LUCKY I was. The pistons and bores and the entire bottom end is undamaged. Its also in really really good shape. Fuelling has been excellent, the bores are all really smart. Still able to see the crosshatch honing! So why have we lost all the compression, the answer lies in the head! Shit So, either the spark plug tip has failed and trashed a valve. OR. A Valve has failed and trashed the spark plug. Now I have to admit I was feeling pretty shit at this point. After the car has ran mechanically perfect for over 5 years now engine wise... The next port of call was, to see if the metal parts of the valve and plug had damaged the turbo charger, and sure enough... Goosed Exhaust wheel on my turbo.... Nice. Well that just about sums up my day, I feel chuffing brilliant. Ha. Ricky has taken the head to the machine shop, that will be sorted tomorrow all being well. The entire car will be re-assembled im hoping for next week. Leaving me to decide what I want to do turbocharger wise. Same Turbo, Same But Modified/Improved, Bigger?... etc Ill keep you all posted, Priority at the moment is to try get the EP95 legal to drive to make Japfest, Ill keep you all posted!   16. Always best to go with Crank Trigger Wheel and Sensor. The ECU needs to know the position of the pistons exactly, not a guesstimate based on where the cams are
