if your cars an import it will pass an emissions test as theres no uk equivalent theres no uk equivalent to match it too so it only requires a basic emissions test otherwise known as a pre-cat test the pre-cat tests ended in 1992 but a starlet turbo or glanza v is exept fom these sll you have to do is make sure the MOT tester knows its a japanese import and when he logs it into the tester he wont have anything to click on so he fails the test on emissions and is then required to run a basic idle test which mine passed about a month ago with full afermarket exhaust including de-cat and my car was overfueling so im pretty sure its nearly impossible to fail his way hope it helps bud
