We were there last year. Turned out an ok show.

Yeah looks ok, maybe a little close to the surge line, perhaps you'd suffer at lower revs, but then you'd be running less boost and there would be less of a pressure ratio. so it would stay within limits. At what RPM was that point based on? Where you hit max power so about 6500rpm? Adrian

A couple more for you I've found on my travels... Some rally starlets in Barbados Some Drifting

Rolling roads by design can only work out whp!! To get flywheel horsepower these places use a calculation to "estimate" fly HP. So if they say they can't give you whp there must be something wrong To get fly HP you need to take the engine out completely and dyno it with any transmission etc. (but to be honest whp is the only useful thing to know anyway in my opinion)

Guessing people have played it that much he's used all his bandwidth

Sounds like a very interesting project for sure!! Are these the fishnet recaros like you find in some EP82 GT's, if so they are very cool!! If not, recaros are still cool One concern is the turbo. You often see this turbo used on 1800/2000cc engines, do you think the 1333cc will provide enough flow to get the best efficiency from the turbo? Have you plotted any data on a compressor map for the GT28R? And don't worry about your english, it's fine (better than the text speak that some people use on forums) Adrian

Actually on further investigation: B1 - Motor tricycles / quadricycles, 3 or 4 wheeled vehicles with an unladen weight not exceeding 550kg. f - Agricultural tractors (ooh arr ) k - Mowing machine or vehicle controlled by a pedestrian p - Mopeds And cars obviously (on my license anyway)

Too much bloody money!!!

I've just pulled out my drivers license. On the back it tells you what you can drive, and theres no bikes on the back of mine Yeah was sure you needed your CBT anyway. On a similar note though one of the older guys in our local showed me his drivers license, he used to be in the SBS (actually better than the SAS apparently) he's got loads of little pictures on the back of his, tanks and everything

I had linked directly to the .wmv before. Just linked to the page now.

Ah right. It's something I've kinda wanted to do... but to be honest I'll prob be older than that before I get round to it anyways

Found this a bit freaky. Quite weird how the human brain works. Charlie Chaplins hollow mask illusion

Browsing about on google videos and found a couple vids. Some trinidad'ian gt turbo For a second there I thought the honda was gonna run away with it. wonder what turbo the GT is running, seems to have a bit of lag but lots of top end power. Julien's Car vs Clio 172 at crail Guessing that's been uploaded after Paul mapped it since the description says 172whp.

Whats happening with bike tests these days? My mate passed his a couple months ago but was saying they're changing soon or something? more expensive, can't ride higher cc bikes till you do another extortionate test??? something like that.

Oh yeah, he's quite handy with a deck of cards!
-
Yep, I can see why, imagine one of your welds wasn't the strongest. A less than fatal crash could have worse consequences.
-
Just because it's on the internet I'm sceptical (but then I'm sceptical about everything on the net ) Very impressive, although the train one would've been more impressive if the train hadn't been parked at a station! (you know someone could've seen the card got off the train and put it there) The beans one; notice he went out of shot for a second, then swethered over which can of beans to take, classic misdirection to make you think it was a random choice, but obviously he placed a set-up one there with the card already in it. The bottle one... well nobody would notice a 5 of diamonds i

Haha, someones submitted one of those pugeot 406/360 modenna kitted replicas
-
You can buy them from a toyota dealership I'm sure. Someone with the EPC should be able to get you a part number.
-
Suppose you could, but 1BAR=14.5PSI so the two scales on the one gauge would be a bit messy. Some of the cheaper gauges have both on the one scale.
-
Was just gonna say it would be quite comical on a real turbo car
-
Unfortunately that's what happens when you buy pre-modified cars.
-
Try not to wind them up too much ben_j. I'm sure the TD04 with a good set-up is more than capable of pushing 220whp. Maybe there is more to it than we know... I don't know. Your set-up sounds very sweet in itself too but don't suppose you can go around on forums saying "my car's faster than yours" as there's really only one way to prove things like that. [edit] I'm not too sure about those dyno graphs myself [/edit]

Well since you were going on about s14's earlier in the year I'd hazard a guess that's what you're going for??

There's a guy from round my way with a Ford Focus, he got this kit from america and had it fitted by SG Bodyworx He bought the kit for a fortune from america, then SG took moulds to sell on (or thats the story we heard ) Suppose you could try them. SG Bodyworx
