  5. Getting back into the starlet after the skoda, the car feels so light and small, had to keep reminding myself the windows where there so I wouldn't feel like I was about to fall out!

  8. Would be interesting to find out what they cost new I presume it would sit lower (as the 5e block is taller), also would it replace my Cat? It mentions 'stock flanges' so could I use the existing pipe with my existing Cat (just thinking out loud now)
  9. Looks good, daft question arn't the bulbs the same? or the pin fitments at least? Try one of the old indicator bulbs to see if it fits (if want I've got my old bulbs lying around if you don't to taken your indicators apart to try a bulb)
  10. Just had a look at the set to go on, the spring is around the hinge (open the handle fully and look up inside it to see the spring), to do anything with the spring the handle will have to come out. I can share the dark secrets of getting the door card off so you can play with the handle is you want
  11. Thanks, all I need now is some courage, and not the Dutch kind!
  12. I've a front upper strut bar, I feel it keeps the front planted a bit better, (feel like the wheel going into the corner is being pushed down and not lifting up) but I love my body-roll, the real fun is driving on that knife-edge where you can just handle it
  13. To lazy to write it all up Look Here for a nice list of goodies, check the classified section there also for bargain bits (here too)
  14. I've been driving a few years now, never any 'excitement' that at all, do have an autolok in each car security for it, and me should I need it
  15. Thanks man:) After undoing both bolts, do I just pull the handle off, or do I need to try the impossible and unhook the latch rod I can't see a way to get too?
  16. Anybody changed/removed/swapped their door handles? I've learnt how to removes the door card, and can see one of the bolts needed to remove the handle. However the other is under a piece of metal that is welded to the window glass runner (it's a brace/stay I think) The dark grey bit (I've removed the screw in the bottom right cover that holds it steady) Has anybody any experience in dismatling this part of the door's guts? Thanks in advance ;)
  17. It does look a bit odd, glad they didn't mess up the rear as they do in some pick-up conversions
