  1. Nice one on the extension, think I'll buy one once my student loan comes in a few days
  2. No problem thanks for your help over the last few days too
  3. Thank you for the kind words Gents! It's just a shame I couldn't get all the bodywork revealed at once You too Adam thanks again! Haha tell me about it, stressful for the both of us sheesh! How's it coming along? ;) It's like you read my mind guys, I agree completely and a lip was a plan from day 1. Check back tomorrow ;) Had a proper dog of a job the past two days, but I guess I'll update the thread properly tomorrow when it's hopefully done!
  4. And Ryan was saying it'd be something silly Let's see how quickly we can get it done tomorrow then iA
  5. Thank you so much everybody! Praying that the friction plate is just the wrong way around!
  6. Welcome along! Get some pics up of the motor when you pick it up
  7. Hey all Ryan and I were doing a clutch change on my 4EFE NA, we did the following: -Replaced Gearbox fluid (2L replaced with 2L, drained and filled through 24mm plug on side of box) -Replaced Crank Seal (gearbox side) -Dropped, cleaned, and resealed the sump and bit the Crank seal sits on -Fitted lightened FTE flywheel -Fitted Blueprint FTE Clutch kit -FITTED NEW FTE RELEASE BEARING (came in clutch kit). Was fitted correctly with pins holding it in place -Refitted everything Problems With the engine off and clutch pedal pressed, all gears could be selected With the engine on and clutch pedal pressed, just before it falls into each gear, idle RPM drops (as if the clutch pedal is being lifted with the car in gear) With the engine on and clutch pedal pressed, VERY resistant and crunchy into all gears Biting point of the clutch when released is like 1cm from when you start releasing! Car does drive as normal but as above, horribly crunchy into gears with a silly biting point Troubleshooting Clutch was fully bled with clear clean fluid coming through, a few bubbles of air came through and after doing this, the gears felt slightly less resistant but still very bad Selector cables were removed to try to get car in gear by hand at the gearbox, again the car would not go into gear suggesting there is not a problem with the cables Both 24mm gearbox drain plugs were opened to make sure fluid was coming through and it was, no problems there We think that the problem is down to the new FTE release bearing not being matched to the gearbox. Would replacing it with the old NA one sort the problem? I would really appreciate any help, I was supposed to go back to Southampton for uni tonight and have to miss a day because of this fcuking car. Also thank you Idrees for helping us on the phone, sorry to have disturbed you so late! Amjad
  8. Event ticket will only get you in the place but to get on the stand you need to but it through the club Awesome, get it done
  9. I was accidentally sold two times which were in fact the same session on here. So on the day I sold them to another member who wanted to buy it on the day, no problems Get it bought asap, you will not regret it Donington is amazing! There's a list of us going on track in the main thread I believe, get on the same time as us ;)
  10. I can't find rails for £100 any more lol Dunno are they? I wouldn't want to modify the Evo rails, as I'd like the seats to be interchangeable between my NA and GT rather than being stuck with a set of seats that fits one car and not the other. (As I'm currently using the Na not the GT, which I will eventually be using more regularly)
  11. Thanks for the comments guys, I can tell some of you are waiting for me to post "the big update! *Big update!* So I gave a few parts to Adam (aaddzz123) to spray for me. They were in a right state and some will be done at a later date (eg my terribly cracked Glanza Rear Bumper). I picked up the car last night and here's how it looked. NOTE the contents of the big box are about to be revealed haha Over the moon with how it looks! - JDM Reflet Bumper (thanks Charlie!) with all slats removed and smoothed, corners smoothed - MR2 Roadster Alloys sprayed in "R35 GTR Premium Grey" - Meister Coilovers and ZEP Racing panhard rod fitted (thanks Aneel, Aneel's Dad and Adam for the help with fitting!) The bumper needs a bit of polishing and the wheels a bit of wet sanding and polishing which will be done at a later date but overall I'm chuffed with how they came out, MASSIVE THANKS TO ADAM! If anybody is after getting parts sprayed I can't recommend him enough, top bloke! Also big thanks to Aneel (starlet786) and Amir (ali_legend) for helping me out big time while I was down in Nottingham and Leicester! My Easter holidays are over now and I'm heading back to uni today, hoping to get the Glanza Rear bumper on after Japfest and something else to complete the car in July. Oh and also thanks to Ryan, James and Lugzy for helping me out with clutch stuff today! Gearbox etc is removed and we were about to replace the crank seal and replace everything but it seems as though the sump is weeping! We hope to get that sorted today as well as a service ready for Japfest. I didn't get a great deal of pictures with the bumper, as Adam had a nice camera and took some so I'll let him post those Amjad

  15. Cheers Chris! Good to meet you and Lottie and catch up with Liam and Adam! Shame the weather was pants!
  16. Bump
  17. Quick question, with Evo 5 Recaros can you use Starlet Recaro rails or Starlet Bride rails to attach them to the car? If so, does anyone know how much they cost?
