  1. Are they Mazda lights? Though they looked a bit Toyota Soarer-ish

  8. Gun ho driving FTW lol
  9. Hmm might consider the grooved ones then... Yeah RedStuff have decent reviews and Keri @WMS recommends them too. I'm still unsure on the discs, think it was David Ashton and Enzo that recommend using OEM ones
  10. Thanks but I'll be buying new, seen the RedStuffs and new CRN drilled/grooved discs going for £120ish on ebay Surely standard sized discs can't be that bad? I've only ever had fade on my NA brakes and they're drilled/grooved with GreenStuffs Yeah that's what I heard Georgie to go for just grooved over the drilled/grooved, just wondering because a few people recommend OEM discs too
  11. Well the ones which will fade the least then I will eventually be getting GT4 brakes but not for a while!
  12. My braking setup on the GT (1bar CT9) will be: - Standard Calipers - RedStuff Pads - Braided brake lines - Toyota DOT 5.1 Fluid Just wondering what front discs to order. A lot of people go for the ebay drilled/grooved ones, I'm not not too fussed about all that, but I just want some which will be decent for road/fast road use but also discs that won't fade/crack on track under hard use A few people have said just to get some new OEM discs rather than the drilled/grooved ones. What do you think guys? Amjad
  13. Obama needs air ride!
  14. Mine are a lot worse, they actually have deep grooves Can't you just get em skimmed?
  15. "so if i take the caliper off and sliders wont move, if i get em freely moving the i should be ok no new caliper" It doesn't guarantee you won't need a rebuild, but it may fix the problem "if i take off the caliper and the sliders are already free moving then its the piston and ill need a new caliper" I think so!
  16. Maybe just see how it goes with the sliders first, and then try a caliper rebuild. I don't think caliper rebuild kits cost a lot and I don't think they're too hard, someone on here did one quite recently. Plus it's better than buying loads of seized calipers! Let us know how you get on, I need to sort mine out too when I'm back home
  17. Well I've never had a look at the rears so I dunno if they're the same, but for the fronts: When you take the caliper bit of the carrier so it's loose, it has a part on the top and bottom kind of a slider covered in a rubber housing, it moves in and out (if you can imagine it moving towards the centre of the car and then back out). Gary sprayed WD40 under the rubber seals into the sliders and knocked either side back and forth with a hammer until they could be slided by hand. Both for the top and bottom one. Not sure whether it'll help the rear calipers, but if mine are sticky like that I'll be doing it before putting new brakes on
  18. My discs are like this too! My front caliper sliders were sticking, and Gary GBR loosened them up for me. I'm guessing you have to do the same for rears? EDIT: Why don't you just rebuild the calipers?
