I found a rear brace made a big difference on my NA along with a Whiteline RARB so I'm getting those on the GT Rob book the 11:48 and 14:18 sessions, we have about 14 or so Starlets on at one time hehe Track session list

Cool Toyota 5.1 fluid it is Yeah I've got the brakes planned out as in my 1st post. Kind of glad I didn't go out at Japfest as my brakes were stock too lol! Holy body roll Batman! That's crazy! PI springs work quite well on my NA, and the 3-point rear brace/C-pillar should help too Just spotted the triple pod pillar thingy, does it fit well and where did you get it? I now need one lol

Not at all Chris, you know a lot so it's good to hear your opinion on this No idea how to do any of those checks bar the fan, tyres and fluid levels lol I'm definitely going to change the brake fluid and I'm buying new braided hoses anyway. Was gonna go with DOT 5.1 Toyota fluid but is it worth getting race fluid? If so is there any you would recommend? I'm definitely going to try and get Oil temp, pressure and Water temp gauges by July. It was my plan to get it all by next year and track the car then but I want to track it now lol

Yeah I'll be keeping it below 6.5k as the CT9 runs out of puff anyway, smooth, progressive driving is what I have in mind That's exactly how I learned the limits of my NA I just haven't tested the handling of this car as the suspension is pants atm lol Yeah been watching videos of the track on youtube trying to learn it I don't think it'd be hard to keep an eye on the gauges now and again either, sounds like these bits are a must then especially as Luke saved his engine from being even more damaged! Too right, I didn't even go on track and that briefing got me in the mood haha

I'm don't wanna be 100% flat out, but I wanna drive it like it should be driven on a track lol

I wouldn't have thought an oil cooler was necessary? Well at least for JF2 anyway as it's two 15 min sessions, may get one later down the line Dan I cannot afford coilovers. Full stop lol. And springs do help as they are stiffer, beats my dragstar setup too lol I'll try and get those 3 gauges, what accessories would I need bar the gauges themselves?

Rob what was your spec like? Craig forgot I have a boost gauge, I'll edit my post now Looks like the car should be pretty potent and I just need the safety stuff then? Anyone know how much a set of those 3 gauges would set me back (including any required fittings etc)?
