  1. Hey man was looking at the blue silicone you used for the washer jets, was any of the other breathers etc in the engine bay 3mm too or 4mm do you know? How many metres did you need?
  2. Any idea what ID the Silicon breather is that goes to the BOV? Mine will defo be too short now..
  3. Thanks guys! Lew lemme know if te one you get is good and I'll order it too I need the hose and clips, still haven't managed to test out my BOV yet (pipe leaked on TMIC)
  4. Heat-wrap fibres are a bitch! Should sound mint though, only had my system on for 2 days and it was popping (and banged once!), yet to wrap the back box pipe too
  5. Is it a straight 38mm silicon you reckon? Or more of a reducer ie 38mm>25mm?
  6. Have you got a link for a silicone joiner? The one in my FMIC kit is the wrong size (used kit)
  7. That is awesome!!1 My Dad had a Sera a few years ago
  8. Starbuck have you managed to fit your Type-S? I have a HDi cooler too, need to order a silicone joiner for the BOV, was wondering if you knew the correct size to order?
  9. My first turbo EP was in an Auto too, still loved it though
  10. ^I like this man's thinking Ryan what spec was the Glanza you drove? No turning back now is there?
  11. Cheers Tyron Thanks buddy! Yeah I had my first ride in a mate's GT last May, after experiencing it, it's only a matter of time before you need the feeling of boost in your life! Had this sitting on my drive 3 months later hehe Nice one Ow! Haha yeah he mentioned it, he keeps telling me to spray the wheels white (he used to see yours about when you had the Enkei's Managed to get a headlight & indicator for £25 but the idiot who posted it sent it in a loose box with no bubble wrap = broken bottom bracket! The bodyshop guy should be able to fix it up though, just need an indica
  12. Wahey managed to get some pics sent over just now! Car is now fully prepped and ready for paint! Decided not to get the IDworkz grille and GI bonnet, need to focus on the essentials first Will be getting an Ebay Exedy clutch shortly and who knows how much the MOT will cost I am LOVING this picture
  13. Make the next one at the very end of April lads, the GT may be able to make an appearance
  14. Ah man that's crap luck Did you use catches before the bonnet flew up? How come you keep going through clutches? lol

Man y'all have got fuel to burn I've only ever done about 109ish in the NA before I backed off as it was drinking like a mofo lol
  16. Nah you'll be okay for now Ryan, but many stock actuators are leaky (all are quite weak compared to the HKS item) so it's a good thing to replace in the future even IF you don't want to up the boost, as it'll help hold boost better Also, you should be aware the boost may creep (it may rise above normal levels) after fitting modifications that get rid of restrictions, especially in cold weather. If power cuts out and/or the engine management light turns on it means you have hit fuel cut, so it would be wise to turn down boost slightly via an adjustable actuator until you can sort out fuelling
  17. That's right a HKS actuator to set it and boost gauge to check and monitor boost levels It depends, I believe our cars only need a basic idle emissions test (not fast idle) but other people say GT/Glanzas registered after 1995 need a cat, depends how nice your MOT tester is I guess lol I'll soon find out when my '95 GT goes in for MOT lol
  18. You've got nothing to worry about mate Simple bolt ons like that will be fine, only thing that comes to mind of being detrimental would be running 1 bar on a stock exhaust manifold, using a FCD (Fuel Cut Defender) with no fuelling mods to compensate for higher boost etc, stupid things lol Set boost at 0.75/0.8 bar and you'll be fine pretty much whatever you wanna fit within reason
  19. Lol at the title of the thread! Nice cars these
