  1. Sounds like a plan guys :harhar: I might get them next year then if I can!
  2. Cheers, you're a trend setter what can I say haha ;) Hehe thanks Hope you don't mind lol it's the nicest splitter so I couldn't resist Sparky I can't get enough of that exhaust lol, I've played the video like 20 times haha! I think I'll go with Pro-Speed!
  3. Omigawd that sounds crazy!! Thanks! ;) Was that with a decat? And did it have a any baffles/silencers? And blimey it shifts alright! Thanks Luke, yeah I've got a Glanza tailgate, but it need holes filling in which is why I haven't got it on yet :harhar:
  4. Lol thanks man! I think I'm gonna get the back box done, then maybe a mid section in the future.. You got any video's of your old system? :harhar:
  5. Another update for you all ;) Seeing as my exhaust was falling off, I decided to take the back bumper off and remove the back box, and while I was at it, I though I may as well go ahead and fit my Glanza Rear Bumper! Yes I know it's white lol, I'm not gonna be able to spray it for a while seeing as I need a new exhaust but I'm so happy with the way it looks, makes such a big difference to the back end! And it'll look even better when it's sprayed up! ;) I think the last pic as a bit odd as I may have moved the camera early ;) Also I sprayed the chrome part of the centre caps on m
  6. Yeah what I meant is I'm just trying to keep my N/A build as cheap as I can, I wouldn't feel guilty spending big bucks on a GT/Glanza lol I might see what happens in the future when I've sorted my bodywork etc, might go for it if I have the cash :harhar: This is a stupid question, but what difference would coil-overs make on my car (bearing in mind I wouldn't use it on track). I currently have Front & Rear strut braces, Anti-Lift Kit, Rear ARB..
  7. Welcome back Ky! ;) Glad to hear the V's getting sorted! :harhar:
  8. Well as some of you may have seen my back box fell off my exhaust system lol so I'm looking to get a new one, I want a custom Apexi N1 style replica, and I've been emailing around for quotes. This is how I want it to look I've only heard back from Pro-Speed exhausts in Cardiff, who quotes me £159 inc VAT and fitting for a custom back box, does this sound reasonable? I've heard good things about them which is why I may go with them, but can anyone else recommend a good exhaust place in South Wales/South West or perhaps as far as the Midlands? Thanks Amjad
  9. Nope just at the bottom of the bootlid, just two bolts and it comes loose You don't need to open up the trim, just get this catch loose, lubricate it all, and you'll see the thin metal pole type thing that goes from this mechanism to the bootlock. When you turn the key, it pulls on this pole, which in turn moves the catch, so lubricate it and loosen it up with your fingers by puling on it gently so the catch moves. Then spray the key with WD-40, and also lube up the inside of the keyhole and give the key a few turns, eventually it should come loose and work perfectly!
  10. Thanks! Ah never mind, I never liked the exhaust anyway so I'm not gonna waste time trying to repair it! Yeah those bits were a right pain but I just about managed it lol Thanks again for the help man! Thanks! Well before I realised the back box came off, it AND the system was rattling like a bitch, but I took the back box off today and secured the system onto the axle so it doesn't hang loose and rattle. Fired her up, fair play does sound quite cool haha, don't think the neighbours approved though Yeah I wasn't planning on shelling out on one so soon but I guess it's inevi
  11. Well I haven't taken them off myself, but should be quite easy. It's worth giving it a go I reckon! Maybe heat up the plastics a tiny bit with a hairdryer/heatgun so they don't crack when you try to remove them? The boot is simple, just unbolt the mechanism as the bottom, and spray WD-40 all over it, wipe over and spray again, then up the metal wire/rope which leads towards the keyhole, you'll know what I mean when you take a look No probs
  12. Paul there's probably a hook or something for the key mechanism, and it may have come off? The only way to sort it is probably to take the door cards off and checked everything's hooked up correctly?
  13. That's a pretty comprehensive review, thanks! If I had a Turbo I'd buy 'em
  14. lol sorry for the hijack Try the same with WD-40? My passenger lock was really stiff before too
  15. Despite being freezing outside I just went to have a go lol IT WORKS! I removed the little mechanism from the bottom of the bootlid, sprayed WD-40 inside it, along the mechanism going up to the lock and inside the keyhole and voila, functional boot lock! Thanks everyone!
  16. Welcome Get rid of the smoked lights & sunstrip and it'll look much nicer dude! Also silver calipers look sweet against black wheels
  17. Quick question; do the Rear (double filament) bulb holders fit straight into the indicator unit? I haven't taken mine out so I'm not sure what each of them look like..
  18. ^When the weather was really cold a few weeks ago I sprayed some WD-40 into my door locks and now they're slick as anything I didn't think of doing it to the boot, I thought maybe it was because I was using a copy of the master key? I'll give it a go, hopefully it works
  19. Looking forward to seeing it with the new rims
  20. I took a few quick pictures of the door frames today, just to show how it turned out, it looks a lot better in the metal! Also had a look at the exhaust today, the previous owner must have had a crappy welding job done on the back box, as it's completely fallen off the exhaust system!
  21. My brother spotted this 5dr Reflet looking a bit sorry for itself yesterday sitting outside a bodyshop!
  22. I've got the same problem with my boot lock, can't even move the key when it's in the lock, but the boot opens fine from the interior cable pull
  23. Cheers Phil! Sorry guys I was gonna wash her and take some pictures today as it was nice and sunny, but I had to sort a few things on my Mum's French boat (Megane) lol by the time I was done it was dark I'll try to get some as soon as I can, it's supposed to snow tomorrow but I'll see what I can do!
  24. Damn that's clean! Good buy my friend Should look sweet with some Bronze shoes
