  1. I think it gets rid of any play in those parts, cars done about 80,000 miles so it should help make it feel a bit fresher! Figured as it'll need alignment for the Meisters I may just do it all now. With regards to Polybushes, that's another project for a later date, I plan to polybush everything and anything apart from the engine mounts! Ah Nice idea guys, thanks! Any idea how I would go about doing this?
  2. Don't suppose you know which specific socket would fit? As they sell the same style tool with just one attachment. I would only use it on the GT so the kit would kinda go to waste

  4. Haha skills is something I don't really have when it comes to cars

  6. Can anyone tell me the internal diameter of the hosing in the 4EFTE bay, is it all the same? And also how much should I buy to replace all the vacuum hosing? Thanks Amjad
  7. And so the work on the GT begins. Target = 1 week!

  8. As Bean mentioned make sure you check the gaps on the plugs, they don't come pre-gapped
  9. The rubber trim thing that sits inside the scoop on my GT flops down and obstructs air flow to the engine, is this due to not having the TMIC? And how can I fix this problem? Thanks Amjad
  10. *Update* Well I'm finally back home and ready to get this thing on the road *fingers crossed!* Been ordering plenty of parts today, loads to do over the next week or so, really want the MOT done some time next week! I'll put pics of the bits I've ordered and the progress of the work but here's the to-do list! -Remove Meisters, ZEP Racing Panhard rod, Whiteline FARB & RARB from NA -Fit the above to GT -Change the ride height (NA is set too low up front and too high at the rear) -Repaint front calipers -Paint and fit the replacement rear calipers -Fit new rear discs, pads and bearings -Rebleed brakes -Refit Japspeed exhaust -Replace CV boots, ball joints and track rod ends -Get the bonnet catch support fixed -Sort out the wobbly Civic rad fan -Sort the scoop rubber trim -Re-velcro the plate at the front -Replace broken lower driver side dash panel -Fit stereo -Fit front/rear speakers -Wire and fit sub -Well needed wash, clay, polish and wax -Fit the new wheels and tyres (pics to follow when they arrive) Think that's it, quite a hefty job as you can see! Wish me luck! Amjad
  11. Where abouts in Surrey are you? How much would your friend charge to fit a supplied alarm with engine start and possibly turbo timer?
  12. They had the Tubular intake, the same engine which makes 85bhp in UK Bugeye Corollas? Our engines made just over 85bhp with Tubular intake too so makes sense they would be that stock
  13. That's the one! Think a few Corolla's had them too!
  14. No worries thanks for the help! I'll give it until tomorrow night if anyone does know, otherwise I'll order a full kit! Found one for £16

  16. Glanza S had Gen 3 4efe with 85bhp
  17. I'd only need it for the GT, I don't suppose you could be able to identify one of those type of tools with just the one fitting for EPs?
  18. Has anyone got one of the cheaper tools? Seen this but dunno if it'll fit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Draper-Brake-Caliper-Wind-Back-Cube-Tool-3-8-Inch-Square-Drive-52334-/261213536787?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3cd18a4213
  19. Happy days Lee! £100 for an engine wow!
  20. Oh I see..may give it a go when I have time then, thanks! Speaking of rewind tool, does anyone have a link? Need to order one so I can get my replacement used calipers fitted!
