  1. ^ I'll be offline until Wednesday should anyone be expecting a reply to PM
  2. Well the way with least effort is WMS discs, because the Astra discs don't sit central to the caliper without work (they're also too big and have loo large a centre bore)
  3. WMS do a thicker than stock disc and Redstuff would probably decent
  4. I've posted what needs to be done a good few times lol Singles: Get the carriers and calipers and WMS discs. Or get some Astra discs machined (use the search to find what needs to be done)
  5. Of course other factors play a role, but a bigger disc helps Aren't they 265mm or something? I think Ishaq found a way of using 275mm discs with twin pots on his Corolla.
  6. I'm assuming the singles are better because the ST165 and Early ST185 were twinpots, and the single's were fitted to the late ST185.
  7. Depends what pads were on there too though! For £20 pads I was shocked at how good the single's were Also the single's have a bigger disc 277.5mm so should perform better?
  8. Wow that's a pretty sweel deal you got by the sounds of it!
  9. Wouldn't really have the time spare even if I was competent enough to fit it unfortunately!
  10. That looks pretty good, might even go for that despite it not being Cat 1. Just need someone to find an auto electrician in S Wales to fit it as the supplied prices are really cheap but fitted is £299
  11. Wow! How much would a alarm fitter cost to get it installed? Because I'd like the insurance certificate. How long can the TT run for? Only thing with that is that it doesn't lock with engine running so not much point in having the TT function if I can't leave the car lol This one seems to have quite expensive prices with the remote start! I can't see anything listed about TT, but I'm guessing it has an aux connection to run an external TT?
  12. Single pot FTW. You can get calipers and carriers for £100 and discs from WMS for sub £100 I ran them on track (1 bar CT9) properly abusing them and didn't get fade even once (stock GT4 pads, stock lines, no BCMS, DOT 5.1 Fluid). Amazing performance for the money
  13. Not a lot, £80ish I think
  14. Anyone know of any decent alarms that won't cost the earth? Either one that has built in Turbo timer function or allows a TT to work. Remote start would be nice! Amjad
  15. So many other cars run screamers, and Jamie1st is always on track with his screamer setup!
  16. Definitely, gives it a contemporary appearance
