With 300bhp you'll want 195's, so for stretch get an 8J. 7J ET20-25 will sit nicely, but I'd say get an arch roll and 45 profiles I have 7J ET13 and they will fit with an arch roll and 45 profiles (this is on a GT)
Thing is lacquer will probably corrode again
I remember somebody posting something to protect lacquer-less metal finishes, but can't remember what it's called. Was about £60 and protects for months apparently
That's it, mine were perfect after doing it..just be very careful not to damage the spindle and place it accurately at 0 before you go to switch ignition on
At the last hurdle too lol! Try resetting the needle, carefully take it off, and set it to 0 when the ignition is on, and it should be normal then. Had to do this after I accidentally took my needle off when doing my indiglos
I like them, some 10mm hubcentric spacers will finish them off nicely! But they WILL corrode, a mate had a set on his EF and they were amazing new but did have loads of lacquer peel later like all polished Rotas..
