Ok ive some updates from my trip home last month. Bought back my old cage that i sold about 3-4 years ago.(weird being the same one!) Now with some added side bars.Ill be getting it sand blasted and painted 8k9 blue at some stage. Also got the custom powering steering set up finished, works a treat. Also sorted the braking issue i had,so now it stops too! Best of all i got to drive it for the first time in 4 years, and its still as loud, low, and hard to sit in as i remember, haha! Also gave it its annual wash and polish before going back into storage.

Wow they look fantastic! Nice!
-
Thanks fellas. Im not sure what ill use the car for, mainly road and drag, the research continues!
-
Thanks for everyones input so far. Im torn between a td05 18/20g (as I already have a td series turbo kit) or a gt28/30 series turbo. I thought about a td06 also, but its quite large!
-
Sounds good, whats the engine spec? Thanks
-
Trying to post some updates with pics but cant copy and paste? WTF?
-
Depends on the build though. Anyway,so is/has anyone ran a 20g??
-
Thanks for that. Blouch rate theres for 450 and 470bhp.

Hello all Wondering is anyone running a td04 20g,either on a 4e or 5e? Would like to know your thoughts on lag, spool times etc. Im looking at one of the blouch items with billet internals, not sure on ball bearing or journel as they have 2 types. Thanks
-
I would run it at 1.6 bar,not all the time, but that was my plan.
-
Andy told me he ran this on an impreza at 1.8 bar while testing these, and it was still climbing in power. The billet hybrids would be a good call I think.
-
thats was my turbo, andy told me it was the first time he sold one to a starlet owner. I sold it though as i left for australia and never got round to fitting it.
-
looks good Vincent!

no idea Rob! Aidan broke it years back, hes moved to Sydney now, still has the shell at home though. Yeah ive a bit on when im home, but im sure we can arrange a day.
-
Cheers Phil. Im back next year.end of june till mid july,id be up for a little meet and catch up then. yeah,i just had to bite the bullet, lol!
-
Thanks. They where $850 Aussie delivered to me in Perth from Brisbane. Not cheap, but ah camshaft choice and suppliers for starlets are limited. Ivan Tighe seem to be very well known over here though.
-
Another new purchase, think it will be the last for awile until I figure out where im going with this. Pair of 272 degree cams from Ivan Tighe camshafts in Australia,in their 1057B spec.
-
Thanks James. Paid for some more parts yesterday, will post pics when they arrive.
-
ill get one,im in no rush.
-
as it says, looking for a hks 4efte fuel rail cheers

One of a few new upgrades,S90 70mm throttle body. Pic is with a 4efte one for size comparison. Some pics i took the when I was home in august for holidays, while doing a few bits, was hoping to get it on the road for a few days driving before i headed back to Perth, but I had a few problems to sort, some of which i was willing to put up with just to get it out,but it would be a pig to drive around in,plus the lack of tax and test would be an issue. anyway... Picked these up ,k20 coils and wiring loom. another piece of the puzzle thanks to sacha at WEPR. Next purchase will be 272 cams from Tighe Cams. Im still unsure what turbo to use on this yet.
