any interest in custom recaro/bride rails for ep91/82
Johnny-C replied to mattyD's topic in Interior & ICE
it is me who is going to be making these, and why matty has started the thread.ive sent geo a message about them this morning. as for load bearing etc,i doubt that zep, bride,or even recaro put these into cars and go crashing them! these rails will be extremley strong, and be the exact same as bride/recaro/zep ones. ive made them before,in various guises, and im currently making up the recaro one for a member to test fit etc. -
not looking to spend much more than 100 quid. anything else?

update 3/8/11 well after recently doing some work on andy87's car,it gave me some motivation to start sorting this thing out. i started with the brakes, removed the old ones, and noticed quite a bit of surface rust on the hubs and arms. due to the amount of salt of the roads from 2 winters ago im guessing,as the rest of the car is perfect. have a few scuffs on the inner arms from running big wheels a few years ago,so will tidy that up too. so im going to remove all, strip them back, prim and paint them, and refit.going to completlry polybush the arms while im at it. so i test fitted the cus
