wow thats tidy!

well,finelly took my car home today to get all sorted with it and built back up again,has been at a friend house since august last year. was in a sorry state of itself... gave it a good wash,was looking a hell of a lot better,i really cant wait to bring it back to the way it should be. plans are along with refitting the new engine. declutter the engine bay,what ever is not nessecary will be removed. custom electric power steering set up. possible wire tuck(will see if i can be assed too!) completely poly bush every suspension component,then repaint them. new brakes all round. and a few other bits and pieces,drawing up a list of ideas at the min. sorry abt the crap pics! ill be updating this thread with progress and pics. ive a busy few weeks ahead!! UPDATE had a spare hour so thought id get somthing done with the bay! ripped out the charcoal canister,and related vaccum jazz. and trying to figure out some re-routing of wires,and a location for the electric power steering pump. gave the bay a quick wash and all it needs is a few scrapes touched up and some polish(dirt was an excellant protection film,lol!) sorry about the crap pics again,really need to get batterys for my camera!

its big enough on a 4e i guess! hope to get somthing done with it this week.

i sort of lost heart in this and thought of breaking the car until i had a little inspiration this week,so my pocket took quite a hit again! done a few things with the engine tonight so its taking shape nicely. but this is what im most pleased about.

i would doubt id have an extra seat. np more irish lads going to this from here??

as long as the car isnt broken i should be there,lol! always wanted to get to a big jap show in the uk,and this could be my last chance to gert to one.

not yet,the full spc is still unconfirmed,as this may have to be a daily driver for awile,dont want to go crazy with it.and im hoping to take it to a big uk show this year if this site or tgtt will b attending. but more pics.

UPDATE! engine is built,have to go pick it up,but have a few plans and things to sort before i can even begin to run it in. turbo upgrade is defo on the cards anyway.

a fair price for a hell of a clutch set up i think!

was gathering up all the parts so thought id take a few pics. new spec is to be wiesco 74.5mm forged pistons scat rods with new arp bolts block already rebored,honed and skimmed brand new crankshaft new acl bearings new oil pump fully balanced bottom end new 1.4mm athena hg fully rebuild head,reshimmed etc with some custom headwork. blitz/orc clutch kit with lightweight fly. i picked up a brand new clutch disc,have to get the flywheel refaced. all bolts to be replaced with new ones. probobly missed out on some spec,and theres some i dont want to give away.

thanks guys. im a little unsure as to what the final spec will be as id like to add cams yet if fund will allow.ill be doing a few little tricks with the head anway though.

bit of an update. have most parts here now,engine is being sent to be rebuild this weekend. out a bloody fortune...lol

thanks. ive got my hands on a brand new crankshaft,hope to get arp conrod bolts,headgasket,and acl bearings this week,get the head away to the machine shop,then disemble the engine,clean everything,and build it back up again. also need a disc and release bearing for my blitz clutch. want to have it out and mapped for drag racing late sept.

i enjoy a drink almost every weekend,but planning on cutting down now as im sick blowing a shitload of money on it. im more of a beer man than anything.
