all i have to say is,judging by your posts,and i mean no offence over what im about to say,but none of you have been in an RS,or havnt been able to drive it. THEY GO LIKE FUCK they are a 305bhp FWD animal. it would fucking destroy an 180bhp starlet. i work with ford and have seen my fair share. and they handle unreal for FWD,and ive drivin my fair share of evos etc. id like to point out,im no stanger to fast starlets,and i also hate fords. but someone has to state the truth in this thread.

thanks guys.im surly but slowly getting the parts i need put together,thinking of holing off its come back for a month or 2 to spec it even more and go a little more balls out and crazy.

well after having problems getting it mapped due to timing issues,ive had some more heartbreak. bottom end bearings are on the way out,so a rebuild is on the cards.id considered breaking it to be honest,but im going to push on with it one more time.

thanks guys. engines in and running sweet,getting it remapped next week as its very lumpy with the 460s,so cant really drive anywhere till then.

small update,removed all parts end wiring tonight,engine and box are ready to drop out,forged lump will be in 2mro and running all going good. have a few other niggles to sort with the car while im at it,so will get all sorted before i send it for a remap.

fitted some MeisterR coilovers tonight,seem alot more forgiving than the k-sports! more plans is to finish the handling with poly bushes all around,and finelly fit my rear arb. engine will be fitted in a few weeks also.

cheers guys. my friend is buying an s15 and wants to put his glanza back to standard to fund it,so im doing a deal with the engine. chris@ccm built it and i know the full history with it so its all good. ill run td04 for now untill i deside what turbo isn't it to use.been looking at greddy units but they are quite expensive.

will this be available in most shops?? like easons wh smith etc...??

well im taking the plunge,forged engine and td05 are what the car will see next.

cheers lewis. well as things are,the volks are due a refurb,still have the mirrors to finish,id like to get a few things touched up,ie the bumper as the stone chips are getting more frequent. will see what happens after the summer over any future 'big' plans,as im planning to go traveling and working away after xmas,ill see what happens.

thanks gents. its a factory toyota colour,purlpelish blue is what its called. when i had the paint mixed for the respray,i went for the darker shade.

well seeing as the girlfriend got a new camera,desided to give the car a wash and go take a few nice pics of it. only have these 4 atm,but she took loads,lol!

if a td05 goes on,it will spitting chicken legs! im not sure on the wings,ill leave it be for now. only thing that will be changing soon are the mirrors,im modding some ek civic ganador ones i have to fit ep91 baseplates.

theres a large list,just dont know if i can justify a 2 grand engine build.
