Was it expensive though? Now I'm just looking for any reasonable cheap backbox/exhaust that would fit a starlet.

I'm tired of my standard pea shooter exhaust and have decided it's definately time to upgrade it; thing is I'm on a tight budget. I've been looking for an SR TTE backbox for ages but with no joy. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get a decent looking/sounding backbox that would suit/fit my sportif for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance. James

No I mean 200 quid to buy and have them fit the alarm........and 40 quid for them to fit central locking too.

I haven't got a central locking kit - the guy selling the alarm just said he'd fit central locking for an extra 40 quid??

I live in Biddulph mate; you drive a silver Glanza? Saw one driving from Biddulph towards Chell a month or so ago. Yer i was thinking about getting the toad ai606 from safe and sound - 240 quid fitted which includes fitting central locking to my n/a starlet. Is this a good price? Cheers

Hey, has anyone heard anything bad/good about these alarms? I've been thinking about getting a TOAD cat 1 alarm as aposed to a clifford one cause they're cheaper. Any thoughts? Cheers

I've seen this toad alarm that I could get - and the bloke reckons that for 40 quid extra he'll fit central locking for me. Reckon that's worth it?

Yer remote central locking is what I'm aiming for - all that lot sounds a bit tech for me though; wouldn't really know where to start. I'll probly try to get my mechanic friend to help me with it.

Glanza spoilers are a pain in the arse to fit to an n/a starlet. You either have to drill holes in the boot lid or glue it on like i'm gonna do. I'm pretty sure the wiring is simple enough; just extend the wire from the existing high brake light after you've removed it. Only trouble i'm having now is with the gay n/a factory option spoiler; rivited in so i'm gonna have holes in my roof when it's gone!

Yer I've got a Glanza spoiler and SR springs waiting to go on in a couple of weeks - no front lip though, hard to come by aren't they? I'm not sure about Laguna ones either...............May get the skirts - I'll see how rich I'm feeling haha

Yer they probably would look good; theres some going for £150 but I dunno - after the cost of spraying and fitting it would be expensive!

They're the TTE ones that come standard on SRs. I payed 55 quid including postage. Could anyone offer any information about the use of a panhard rod then? Cheers

I saw a silver Glanza in Staffordshire yesterday heading through Chell towards Biddulph; AND a white GT Turbo parked at Hanley Forest Park - the same one I saw parked in Biddulph a week before. Anyone know who these cars could belong to? I was so shocked as I'd never seen any Starlet turbos in the region and wasn't aware of any owners from Staffordshire/Stoke-on-Trent??

I voted black - I think you need a bit of contrast and the car's mostly white at the moment. That makes it 50/50 on the votes too! Seeing that GT has made me want to get one instead of a Glanza - is that a TOMs kit? Got any pictures from the rear? I think GTs are generally cheaper than Glanzas too aren't they.
