  6. depends on how much money you want to spend, if i were you id save your cash and port the standard one, it will still have the same effect, for less money. then get the decat fitted, and sort yourself some wheels

  9. gutted for you mate, glad its in the best hands now though. I was gutted when mine went after 1 day of driving it, i thought it was piston rings, but it was the actual piston that broke. hope it all goes well for you mate

  11. 74mm are standard size and traders sell the standard sizes mate, alot of people tend to go for 74.5mm, but i always go bigger the expensive parts are; pistons & rods ARP bolts headgasket. The rest are cheapish il spend around 1200 for bits and machine work, not a cheap thing to do, but its worth it for sure

Parts, Wiesco 75mm pistons Scat forged rods Athena 1.4mm headgasket ARP Main bolts ARP headbolts ADL waterpump Toyota oil pump (maybe) new gaskets and oil seals ADL cam belt kit New belts Machine work; Block to be re-bored to take 75mm pistons Block honed head skimmed lighten standard flywheel all chemically cleaned and re-painted. Crank to be polished later on, Head will be fully ported and polished valves re-seated valve stem seals replaced cleaned up. Seems quite alot seeing as im selling the engine next year lol

  18. as above, well said Phil. Think that if people dont like the idea or want no part of it, then dont. EP82 girl isnt getting paid for doing it she is doing it for the love of the UKSC scene, i have been in contact with BANZAI, about doing a club feature in July. I think there are far too many members on here who like to act as kids, if you DO want to act like it and gang up on people, run them down, and overall be a prick, then you need to go on TGTT.... Dan

  20. cheers micky, much appreciated, yeah il make the 400 mark for sure, il just take my time with it, i think its because i got the car on the road for like 2 days, and then the engine went, however, im not one to give up. People say about the costs of doing it etc, knowing what your doing etc, but at the end of the day, its my hobby, il learn new things on the way as well. with the help from you guys aswell i will do this...
