  2. **UPDATE** Picked up the block the other day from the machine shop, so as i got it back i painted it matt black... I checked out the piston rings aswell to check the gap, just want you guys to take a look at the pictures i took, and just confirm they look perfectly fine?? cheers
  3. yeah £23 lol, skim can range from different people, i was quoted £120 from a different company and laughed at them its upto you wot you wanna do really, its more expensive getting it from TMD i recon, and not only that, its more fun and for filling doing it yourself.

  5. hybrid CT9 will give you a buzz on standard internals If you want to go bigger, do it right and get a forged bottom end..

  7. is the rear oil crank seal the same as the 5EFE? I've compared it to the 4EFTE one and they look the same??? but the 4EFTE one fits snug, and the 5E is slightly loose, but very slightly?? cheers

  11. i know its difficult getting these sort of figures, but the 5E is getting alot of head work done including cams,valves etc.. custom inlet mani, full race fuel system, standalone ECU etc etc etc... alot of work is needed to get to the aiming figure, but if you have nothing to aim for then whats the poin?? lol

  15. click on your transactions, and theres a tab on there which lets you do bank transfers mate. Failing that, phone the number on the back of your card and theres an automated line which you can do it via that.

  17. ***Update*** I've not updated this for a while, so i thought i would keep you guys in the loop as to were i am with the Glanza at the moment... The block has been sent away to be bored out, honed and decked all round, so i should have that back next week/ following week, and then the re-build can take place. While I've been waiting for the engine, I've stripped things off the car like brackets and braces to get painted in a Bright colour (wont say until i have them back), i also got the paintbrush out and painted a few things to make them look alot more fresh......   18. im not sure if the K24 flange will fit the CT9, I've neer had one, but i would change the manifold aswell to a CT9

  21. standard dumpvalve. Get yourself an oil catch can with two clear pipes from the rocker cover to the catch can, that way you can see how much oil your pushing out.
  22. have you got anything on yours at all?? like a breather filter or a pipe on it to the dumpvalve?
  23. also, when my piston rings went, it was also the piston aswell, luckily for me it didnt explode inside the block
  24. which one do you mean mate? ontop of the rocker cover on the left?
  25. aslong as you havent gone over the dipstick reccomendation mark then you should be fine
