connect all the wires with the stereo but put the light with the side light bulbs in the dash aswell.

take off the engine mount near it aswell mate, and rest the engine on a jack, it will be so much easier for you Just seen the above. do it yourself mate, undo the cambelt side engine mount and the rear gearbox mount, jack the engine up slightly so you can get to the engine mount bracket bolts, then lower the jack and keep the engine on it for now. Simply take off and re-place the pump, job done.

I've set it to how it was as standard mate, i cant see the pistons cracking to be honest. Il get the timing checked but im sure its fine, i just think it was a bad gasket TBH.

I've been told that a Genuine Toyota HG will be fine for running 1.4 bar on a TD04, Is this true?? Also, if i was to go down the Athena Headgasket route, will i need to take my head and block back to get re-skimmed? Reason being was due to my other cheap headgasket blowing between the cylinders, or will it be fine with a little clean up? does anybody rate the Athena headgasket or should i just go genuine?????
