UPDATE!!! well since the last time i wrote on my thread I've got the headlights sorted and fitted, my sticker number plate done, gear knob done, and the BOV fitted... I've now also got 9 points lol. The biggest update, is i now have a fully forged 5E engine sat in my shed, just needing the turbo kit, i said i wasnt going for big power, but fuck it you only live once, so im going for silly power. At the moment im thinking of a Ball beraring TD05 turbo kit, however that will be sorted by july. the car will be back on the road end of january which im extatic about, just need to sort out seats and air filter relocation kit. I've got a slight worry about my brake lines being too close to the front wheels aswell, but spacers may help me out with that., we will see. i will update photos tommorow as i cant be assed right now lol.

well the knocking noise will be because of the spring bud

phil it will all come together in the end, i was fed up of mine at one point but it is now sorted. the pinning, may be slight oil on the clutch itself when jay put it in, it does happen and that would cause the spinning?! i couldnt imagin the clutch being shagged at 0.5 boost. the knocking MIGHT be gearbox mount perhaps? does it knock all the time or just every now and then?

well mine comes as a four piece system, so the center splits in two, does yours not just have a normal two bolt flange on it?

what if you unbolt the center, turn it round, n bolt it that way, it looks like it may work.

hmm, either get yourself a new system to fit the decat, or new decat to fit the system. what is the shape of the flange that joins to the decat?

its just for a CT9 at the moment, I've got the forged 5e in the garage now so thats sorted, just the turbo setup I've still got to make my mind up lol. just need a cheapish relocating kit with a new filter just so i can get the car on the road.

rather than do it on a 205, could you do that on a starlet? lol
