Lol you telling me!? I almost torque steered straight into a flying pig after fitting it!
-
It's an alloy one too, oh yes!
-
Its only available at like 8 petrol stations in the UK too, all down south. They were showing its performance gains at the autosport show with a 911 Turbo and it was making a good 80bhp over what it made on normal fuel. Its meant to be used for trackday and race cars. I also got myself a free BP 102 tax disc holder at the show!woop woop

Have you seen Toby's camera stuff that he sell's on tgtt, Bullet cams or something? Would be interesting to see how your car performs in the time attack competitions against the other cars, one of my mates used to do it in his gtti.

Those wheels are shit though! It looks just like mine except its white (mine is black). I've never seen it about Edinburgh though. Bit of a high price in my opinion ;)

Look who I bumped into (peachy pics inside)

They are amazing photos mate, both your cars look quality. ;) I really need to get myself along to a meet some day but I'd be put to shame by the tidyness of your cars. Simply amazing photos -
lmao ;) Fair enough mate, they are sexy wheels
-
I actually think they'd look pretty smart, maybe a slightly darker blue would work better though. ;) Also does this mean you are thinking of selling your current wheels? I'd be very interested in them if you are?

I think mine is only revving at about 5k at that speed in 5th, definately less than 6k anyway. Standard Glanza gearing is good for over 150. So you must have the TRD final drive.
-
Oh yeah and i never said that i'm glad you were ok after that big accident. And the new car is absolutely quality, i love the Weds SA90's the colour and the JAM lip on the 96 bumper is interesting, and just the whole JDM look of the car. No more accidents with this one the a?!
-
My car used to really struggle to do anymore than 120 mate, when i just had the exhaust and filter, but i would of thought yours should be able to go a bit more with the sard ecu.
-
Nice result. But a 50hp transmissiion loss thats huge for a front wheel drive car!
-
Its a good location for pics, its a smart wall lol. The Glanza's goin not bad but will be better in a few weeks when i get my decat and mani fitted, will be close in power to yours i would hope, just without any traction! Jammy bastid bloody standard LSD *grumble grumble*

Looks good mate, nice photos-where they from? My car looks fookin high parked next to it.

Looking good bud, but you got it the wrong way round wi the actuator. The ep91's are pin type and the older ep82's (not all of them) are hole types. You don't get the pin with the actuator the whole screw on arm bit is different, just try an find someone with an ep82 that needs a hole type arm and swap, i had to do this with mine.

whats missing from this pic of a couple of ct9-A's

Is it not the changing the exhaust blades that make the diffence when hybridising(?!) a turbo rather than just the impeller blades? Do you have any more pics of the two turbos?. An what sort of prices are you being offered, do you have to provide the turbo or do they sell ready made hybrids too? -
What do you use to look at the yahoo auctions ecksjay? I can't understand the site even when its translated! Flexs would suit me fine especially at £500 if they are in good nick.
-
Nice coilovers mate let us know how they handle, been thinking about these myself. ecskjay get me a set for that price and in good condition and I'll be your gimp for a day!

There's no pics of the gauges, just what i mentioned in the post, they are autometer one's. An cheers ecks, you can keep your eye out for a set of suspension for me now since your sorted, yours looks sooooo much better on it's arse just wish mine was that way . Had the fmic for a while now but was just collecting up all my bits to fit them all at once, hopefully get all the bits on soon once the car is back form whatever garage it ends up at this time. -
Hey wylo, Nice lookin starlet you've got likin the new wheels you had - the jdm split rim style looked sweet when i seen your car last. I'm the guy wi the Glanza at uni by the way. Need to have a chat wi you when were back at uni, want to see what the ride is like in your car, mine looks like a bloody jeep sat next to yours! Been swaying back and forwards as to whether i want coilovers or not and since you seem to want to copy my reflet lights i might copy your D2's! Might even let you see what your missin without that extra lil item under your bonnet. Yours would be a proper sleeper

My Troublesome Turbocharged Terror

Cheers fella, well I've got an autofixed fmic waiting to be fitted. Then the lil things like fuel pump, rrfpr aswell to fit so i can run a little bit more boost for the moment. I know it aint the best method, but its what i can afford at the moment and aslong as i'm sensible its safe enough as plenty of people have used the same setup in the past, but when i can afford it i want a decent ecu like a jam or sard etc. My plans for this summer are sorting the supension looking for a good set of uprated shocks and matched springs. Also might get a new mani if i can afford it. -
Far too much! Near £600 and that was me providing the head, but the garage did work they shouldnt have to the head by getting it machined. A trusty source said it should only cost about £200 if you provide the head, and if you give head to the mechanic it might be even cheaper! (Sorry lame couldn't resist though)

Cheers, cant exactly remember but think it was about £90 from the US but then got stung by customs too so worked out at near £130 i think. -
Cheers guys, Ye gettin fed up wi the other site. Might well be up for that meet if my cars any better, should be by then. Too much trouble mate, was all shade stuff that had been dodgily covered up, think the previous owner shunted a kerb because all the wheels were out of allignment, the abs got damaged the wheel hub was bent airbags dont work horn was missing and all the shit out the steering column too, had a crack on the cylinder head- exhaust port though so nothing major just leaked a lil when cold. It was all pretty dodgy as i said, the engine management, airbag, and abs warning light
