  1. Yeah close enough its the Forth rail bridge. Its a good spot for pics although it was bloody cold that day. I'll probably go back sometime to get some nice sunset pics. Thanks mate. ;)
  2. Nah mate it was because it was posted in the "Scotland and Borders" section i wasn't sure wether to go to the borders or scotland Yeah i noticed the Lomond bit but its still quite a big place, need a good old "Meet at the car park opposite the Hairy Beaver Pub" sort of thing. Or a postcode to bang into multimap. ;)
  3. I'll come along, will need a bit more details on the exact location though. ;) 1. Stevie B 2. sl8ter 3. Enzo 4. beatz 5. lobotomy (Adrian) 6. Streetracer_starlet (G) 7. woodchopper + mate another starlet (possible) 8. BoostJunkie (colin) 9. WallaceGlanza
  4. Brilliant, that is quality!
  5. Cheers mate, yeah probably seen my sig on TGTT, couldn't get it work over here. ;) I've been looking for some new rims for ages, I missed out on a set on ebay which i was gutted about. Hopefully get some sson though. Thanks Si, I'd like the 98 front like yours though, I need to save up for that and the nice bonnet which yours will have soon too. You could probably find some covers some where, its a bit unfortunate that some went missing. I was also feeling a bit sorry for steve getting all the hassle he has when it was the post office's fault with them but thats another matter.
  6. I thought i had better update this post since my Glanza has changed a fair bit since back then^^^ So firstly probably the biggest change for me was the addition of these lovely things; As you may be able to tell they are Cusco L-Zero coilovers, i got them for a bargain price of £450 off ebay and as you can see they were in quite good condition. They totally transformed the car both in looks and performance, they are bloody brilliant coilovers and don't have a harsh ride at all. So this is how the car looked after fitting them; The next thing i did was getting the intercooler fitted, I also modified the bumper a little to get maximum air to the cooler, so this is how it looked then; I was tempted to leave it like this for a while, but thought the police might not be too keen if they saw it... I thought the car deserved some nice scenic pictures, so i found a suitable Scottish landmark and snapped away; The next bits i fitted was this little lot; One of Dave Burwashes's stainless steel mani's, a Blitz decat and some TRD sweat bands. Along with a bit of a clean in the engine bay this is how the car now looks; So thats how the car stands today, I've also got this sitting in my bedroom waiting to be fitted; A GReddy Emanage, I'm waiting on getting a boost controller then sorting out my ignition with some new leads and plugs, then the Emanage can get fitted and mapped. I'm also desperate for some nice JDM rims which the car really needs, so if anyone finds or has any for sale let me know. ;) So the full spec of the car at the moment looks like this: Engine/Turbo: Autofixed FMIC Apexi Filter (Mounted behind the grill) Burwash Stainless Steel Manifold Blitz Decat Custom straight through ss cat back exhaust HKS Actuator HKS FCD Walbro fuel pump SARD RRFPR SARD R2D2 TRD Reservoir Covers Chassis: Cusco L Zero Coilovers Cusco Type OS Front and Rear Strut Braces Cusco Lower Arm Bar Whiteline Anti-lift Kit Whiteline Pan-Hard Rod 15in TSW Rims (Need some JDM rims!) Interior: Autometer Ultra Lite II Boost Gauge and A/F Ratio Gauge mounted in Nomad racing A-pillar Pod. Exterior: '98/'99 Clear Front Indicators JDM Reflet Rear Light Clusters
  7. I really do like that a lot, good thing your coilovers are nice an stiff or would get a hell of a lot of scrubbage wi them on an the car bein so low! ;)
  8. The outer casing isn't different, it just looks it because the inside is silver making it look more clear on the 98 spec one's. It also depends what angle you look at the lense from, one way it looks clear the other it looks fogged.
  9. No thats Dave Burwash, Toby and him are both traders on toyotagtturbo.com though. This is Dave's section: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=26 He also has a website starletgtturbo.co.uk
  10. Yeah i never liked the Varis bumper before when I'd seen it in white, but in black it looks feckin evil! If you do consider getting it I'd definately buy your original bumper off you sl8ter, so dibs!lol. ;)
  11. Some nice motors you've had, like the Evo V particularly. I can forsee your Glanza becoming quite heavily modified. ;)
  12. You should get the Varis front bumper too, then you can sell me your standard front bumper, please and thank you! ;)
  13. tits mcgee
  14. Your Glanza looks very clean mate, not keen on the seats though, they are a bit cheap looking in my opinion. --> QUOTE(Stevie B @ Apr 1 2007, 09:18 AM) nice glanza, im glad i never got these wheels now though.... So does that mean if stephen decides to sell his Weds that you don't want them? I think your advan's suit your car perfectly anyway.
  15. Nice, i hope to get myself some nice recaro seats at some point too. Much better than the other seats that were in there.
  16. Grind it off.
  17. Lol you telling me!? I almost torque steered straight into a flying pig after fitting it!
  18. It's an alloy one too, oh yes!
  19. Its only available at like 8 petrol stations in the UK too, all down south. They were showing its performance gains at the autosport show with a 911 Turbo and it was making a good 80bhp over what it made on normal fuel. Its meant to be used for trackday and race cars. I also got myself a free BP 102 tax disc holder at the show!woop woop
  20. Have you seen Toby's camera stuff that he sell's on tgtt, Bullet cams or something? Would be interesting to see how your car performs in the time attack competitions against the other cars, one of my mates used to do it in his gtti.
  21. Those wheels are shit though! It looks just like mine except its white (mine is black). I've never seen it about Edinburgh though. Bit of a high price in my opinion ;)
  22. They are amazing photos mate, both your cars look quality. ;) I really need to get myself along to a meet some day but I'd be put to shame by the tidyness of your cars. Simply amazing photos
  23. lmao ;) Fair enough mate, they are sexy wheels
  24. I actually think they'd look pretty smart, maybe a slightly darker blue would work better though. ;) Also does this mean you are thinking of selling your current wheels? I'd be very interested in them if you are?
  25. I think mine is only revving at about 5k at that speed in 5th, definately less than 6k anyway. Standard Glanza gearing is good for over 150. So you must have the TRD final drive.
