  1. Nah, rubix's wheels were wedssports and the big chief's are enkei's as he said. Edit: Sorry shelly your right he did have enkei's too but its the weds on in those pics. I like the wheels I'd just get them refurbed if they need it, they look good in black with a red rim although maybe not on a silver glanza. Good luck with it though looks like a nice base to start with.
  2. Looks like its highlights for me then! Was it a good race? Raikkonen champion then?
  3. Yes it is a good feeling but being this hungry isn't! Also I'm definately not getting to see the start now, I've got a 15mi drive to get home.
  4. I'm itching to get home to watch this, been stuck in work waiting on a bloody lorry since 10am. But at least i've been getting paid to sit on the forums all day! PS What a shame about the rugby.
  5. Thought this may interest some on here, two weekends ago I journeyed to Spa Francorchamps in Belgium for the 6 hours of spa race weekend with my old man. Its an event for older cars with the main race being the 6 hour event, however there are also races for old grand prix cars, sports cars and touring cars aswell as some mixed races. I had a great time there and saw some awesome machinery aswell as the brilliant circuit itself, the access to the track and paddock areas was brilliant as we were able to walk in and ou of the pits and stand on the pit wall as we wshed something which you would not be able to do at a bigger event, I even got to have a beer and chat with a few drivers in their motor homes . So any way onto the cars, as I said there was a huge mixture of cars in the various events over 600 infact the likes of GT40's, Cobra's, Mustang's, a Ferrari 512, Porsche 917, Lola's, Chevron's, Jag E-types, D-types, astons, Capri's, Cortina's, Mini's blah blah blah! Even the hotel we stayed at had some fine machinery around it including a veyron which I'm gutted that disappeared before I got a picture of it. I've over 300 pics on putfile but here's a selection of my favourites: As I said theres hundreds of pics on my putfile if people want a look.
  6. I speak to him on msn every so often. I got my sweat bands off him fine. He was obviously just trying to make a bit of cash getting bits from toyota then selling them on overpriced on ebay. He's not on the new forum though. If people really want the sweatbands then somebody should contact the company that make them and get a group buy going to make some more, you can find the spoon one's on ebay and I think its the same company that made the trd one's.
  7. Welcome mate, I only wished you had popped your head up a few months ago, would've saved me a large wad! Good luck mate, awesome prices too.
  8. Total shitter mate, hopefully its things that can be replaced which the bugger took, at least the cars ok for the most part. At least you have the cctv footage and that the police are actually doing something about it too, you might get some payback yet!muhahahaaha

  10. Noice! I really like the R8 although I have to correct you though, its just a V8 in it, the V10 will probably be out later though.
  11. Really good price that mate, wish you had posted this up a few months ago, could've saved me a couple o hundred quid! Let us know of how you get on with any starlet visitiors you might have.
  12. Here is the wiring diagram I did for my glanza using both the ignition and injector harness's: Then this diagram shows the three different ecu's for the 4efte starlet, T-6 is for the MT EP82 Mk1-3 (89-95) and AT EP82 Mk1-2 (89-91) T-7 is for the AT EP82 Mk3 (92-95) (Quadlight) T-9 is for the EP91 both MT and AT [Click on either image to enlarge] So simply select the ecu suited to your GT then alter the diagram to suit.
  13. Thats seriously gay! Yeash its going very slow.
  14. Purple monster eater ROFL!!! Obviously not meant to sound as how I interpret it! Anyway, that car is sweet! The old skool 71's really are nice and that one is awesome!. More updates please.;)
  15. Yes.
  16. SES is specialist engine services somehwere done south not up here, Dave B uses them to get engine work done, they're meant to be pretty good. Also toy tuning is a company not an ecu. You can purchase a 3bar pressure sensor for the emanage and use it to tune instead of using the stock map sensor.
  17. Running at 1.2 bar on the ct9 won't make any more power than at 1 bar well maybe 2-3bhp but for the extra stress and heat that will be generated its not worth it. My car was mapped to 1bar and it was making only 3 bhp more at 15psi compared with 13psi. Just to let you know! As I've already said the car looks ace with the splitter added. ;)
  18. Thanks for the advice but i have now resolved the issue. Mods you can delete this please. Jay don't comment, I can see you lurking in here.
  19. My passenger side window doesn't work, neither of the switch's work. Fortunately the window is up at the moment though! I currently have the doorcard off looking for any obvious loose wires but can't see any, the motor doesn't make any noise when the switch is flicked either. Is there anything else I can check for, I don't have a voltmeter unfortunately so can't test to see if there is power to the motor. I know that one guy had a problem with his window at the scottish meet earlier this year, can't remember who it was though. Any common problems that it could be?
  20. They were indeed. The '96/'97 were available in red too but are even rarer.
  21. Yeah I was happy with it, would of cost another £150 if I'd got the tuner to fit it. The guy I got to do it had re-wired my girlfriend's mini before so I knew he was ok.
  22. The dials certainly are nice. Dave Burwash did a gropu buy for them, if you got 20 people interested in them he could make up a set for the NA boys. @ Enzo I got an auto electrician to wire in the emanage, I didn't want to bodge it in myself, I drew up the wiring diagram for it an he just had to solder it all in nice an neatly, cost me 80 quid to do so.
  23. They are awesome, the pictures really don't do them justice. I'm not normally a fan of these sort of things but I feckin love these! ;)
  24. I fitted these super sexy indiglo dials tonight, I'm absolutely loving them! ;) Also the pictures don't show how blue they are when lit up, such an improvement over the grey stock dials.
  25. No, £350 just for the remap then the vat on top, I already had the emanage all wired in.
