  1. i was driving his car vpower, it doesnt feel like a stock car. i had a look around the map sensor too for a fcd, the boost guage has been plumbed in normally but the vacum hose from the t piece didnt go through the firewall at the top, it went to the bootom and in that way and the guage is mounted at the passenger side of the dash. its really baffled me thats why im asking lol
  2. hes away now i dont really know him. its just doing my head in. it definetley didnt feel like a standard car mate it was pretty quick. at first i thought it might have been a jam actuator but there is no fcd. and it spools nicley to 1bar its not creeping
  3. felt quicker than my glanza did at .8 on the standard turbo. its quick EDIT- fuel cut is around .85 shane
  4. sold a lad local to me a bov, he doesent use these forums or anything. he was having problems with it and brought it up for me to have a look and we sorted it, cut a long story short i had a wee shot of his car, its hitting 1bar under 3k rpm and pulls well right up to the redline, but while fitting the bov i remembered he had a standard mani and cat. pulled over and had a look its completley stock except a s/s system,and nology ht leads and a greddy boost guage. no fueling mods, no boost controller or bleed valves, no adjustable actuator, nothing? was annoying me at this point and i had the gl
  5. the only way to find out is by taking it to a rolling road mate. dont run 1 bar witht he standard manifold!!!!!
  6. yeah it has a nasty restrictor int he 3rd runner.upgrade your brakes, get a new mani, decat, get it boosting at 1bar. what has it been mapped on? piggyback?

  8. im gettin a loud ticking noise when im starting up, the mani has a crack but its not coming from there. after inspecting today it seems to be the alternator belt, sprayh a wee bit wd40 on the alternator belt and see if the noise goes away for a minute, if it does u need to tighten/replace it
  9. mine doesnt have 1 either its never gave me a problem, think ill get 1 anyway, never knew there was 1 for it

  13. I've seent hat yellow 5dr before im sure of it. does it have lambo doors geo? asthers a yellow model of it on the parcel shelf and that has lambo doors lol
  14. totally random lol i found some seety papers in my car from japan too theey were mental looking, also found 2 funky looking wasps about 3 inches long aswell
  15. why not do the manual conversion? the autos use a lot more fuel than manuals, plus it will put the value of your car up a fair bit! somthing to think about bud;)
  16. it would be silly not to call mate, when i first insured my glanza i insured it with the reg and nad been running around for a couple of days insured as a starlet cd. never knew until i read the paperwork. called up and sorted things out right away!
  17. GT's are generally cheaper to insure than glanzas mate your premium might go up
  18. i done that a while ago i got it all off but now im stuck with the runners and the sliders are still attatched aand theres 2 little mechanism things with a roller inside at each end 1ce thats out its easy but its getting the rollers out, i did the first set on the passenger side last nite but it took fucking ages and was wondering if there was an easier way
  19. i managed it but it was fucking annoying, took ages! ill just cut the other 1s apart 2moz itll be much easier
  20. ive got mines sitting perfect on the passenger side, tackling the drivers side 2moz, i removeved the sliders from the runners and to my luck some1 has already modded my rails they have markings on them where some1 has measured out and drilled some new holes, i used a metal plate drilled with multiple holes in it and bolted them into the seat rail via the holes that were pre drilled and then bolted the seat to the plate. Because i have more holes drilled on the plate i can remove the seat and move it back or forward incase i sell the car and my position doesnt suit the buyer. ill put some pics
