just stick a hose in the keep it as low as you can, even crouch down at the side of the car and start sucking, 1ce it gets to your mouth pull the hose out and keep it pointing down and keep it as low as u can and make sure u have the other end rite at the bottom. your injectors should be fine. its worse the other way around as petrol burns the tips off diesel injectors. the diesel will prob just lube things up a bit lol, as for whats in the lines i wouldnt worry about it, it will burn away eventually and be a bit smokey

i did it before xmas bud lol hung over and put in diesel. luckily i didnt start it but it wont do you any harm. just lift the back seat out lift the cap and youl have 3 or 4 hoses with about 8 screws round it take them out and syphon it from there, change your fuel filter and fill it up and bobs your auntie. diesel burns slower than petrol so it wil be clogged up a bit but it should pass no problem

i noticed it a while back, i knew it was bad and i was gonna replace it anyway. but i didnt think it was that bad. when i took the skirt off i almost cried haha but it looks a lot worse than it is, all the rot can be cut away and the new sill replaces the lot. so happy days. but it just shows you what can happen because the skirts hold water and thats what made it go so bad. get ures sorted first, then when u put your skirts on get it sealed up well. good luck with your project ill be keeping an eye on it -

big plans for this little car eh lol u said you have 500 quid spare why not drop a fte in lol the sr u have baught looks clean but defo get that sill treated before you put on the skirts look at my thread buckets glanza u will see in there how an untreated sill goes (nasty) -
the part i got from toyota was only 19 inches long lol to buy a full sill it comes in 3 pieces 1 bit form the wheel arch then the centre bit(which i got) then u need to buy a rear qaurter panel for the other bit lol anyway the 1 from the fiesta is perfect for the job it lines up perfect with it ples tucks right under past where the damage is. when the skirt is on you can barley see it there is also a wee rust bubble on the back arch so thats getting done too plus any other wee dings or anything. the paintwork is immaculate and the guy thats doing it for me says there wont be a problem trying

i know bud, i thought it was bad before i took the sideskirt off. When it came off i couldnt believe it its just as well the rotten bit can be cut away. i got a sill from toyota but it wasnt big enuff so the sill i ended up having to buy was off a mk3 fiesta lol but it does the job perfectly it aloows that extra bit just to cut the rot away and replace it

well after giving the car a wee clean today i decided to go take some photos before it goes away to get fixed on monday sideskirts back on 2 save too much embarresment at the rolling road day 2morro lol and 1 from the other day on my fone

tbh mate i seen a little bit of surface rust but it didnt look that bad, the sidskirt was holding a lot of water which obviousley had some salt in it and it was just eating it away. the drivers side is spot on its only that side letting the car down at the mo, but all will be fine come monday i know bud it breaks my heart everytime i look at it lol especially with it bieng white, the rest of the bodwork and paint is immaculate anol.

a wee update on this. Not a good 1 though as above, when my car was in japan it had a wee bump to the rear qaurter panel at the passenger side, it was repaired well u cant even notice it (i didnt when i baught it) BUT... the sill was starting to rust a wee bit during winter due to the salt on the road so i had a wee look behind the sideskirt and its getting pretty bad, only thing i can think of is that when theyve been repairing it theyve had the sideskirt off and screwed the skirt fixings into the sill without treating it So I've been planning to get a new sill put on and painted up

oohh that would work lol i liek that colour it reminds me of the new focus RS, i had a shot of 1 of them yesterday it was f*cking rapid gorgeous car too looks sooo much better than in the pics

i know there are hundreds of these threads on here, every1 has there own theories on how to tell if you have an lsd or not like lifting 1 wheel off the ground and not being able to turn it, others saying that they clunk a lot and a lot of other things but does anyone know for sure as ive heard there are a few different kinds. i done a big burnout earlier and it left a big number 11 and ive herad that means its an lsd but my wheel turns with 1 off the ground, i do get an awful lot of wheel spin through the gears too and it doesnt clunk either whats the story? sorry about the essay lol
