  1. ok i checkd out some things... not to sure about it still.. It is important how easy the filter lets the air pass, and how much total surface the filter has. would be best to stick one on and try it out i guess. but its a bitch to get to that spot.. and if it doesnt wrok propperly good luck on getting your stock piep back on propperly... mesh filter would let in the air easier than foam i guess.
  2. But how you get en airfilter up front is still the question for me. AC is in the way. what about butchering a original EFI pipe... *mastermind starts to work overtime* *runs of to check something*
  3. is the switch in the right position? you got ON OFF DOOR
  4. yes it would be but also think about the forces involved in an accident and i can imagine that a c-pillar bar would have difficulty staying in one piece with two adults pulling full force. If the C-pillar would buckle/snap that would not be good, to say the least.
  5. can hardly see that tiny filter letting any amount of air in.. yes we only have 1300cc.. but isnt that really small? i guess it could be worth a try, better than meshing the tubby i guess. i know someone here in the netherlands had a tiny filter like that on and said he did not notice any performance change, so i could be ok. But i would think the turbo would really have to suck harder to get the right amount of air through this filter. Anybody else wanna shed some light on this?
  6. I have seen this more than often in peoples cars, and talking to some professionals(rally), i really would like to point this out as some people don't seem to understand the risks involved in installing seatbelts incorrectly. i am talking about the angle of the rear harness specificly as this is something you can easily see in pictures. Sparco manual wouldn't like to see someone on here being involved in an accident and snapping his or her spine because they installed their harness improperly.
  7. don't know about the seat going further back, but the passenger seatbelt light is triggered by the seatbelt being pulled itself, not the buckle so it will work.
  8. i will shoot a vid this weekend off a driveby, will try to make it with and without baffle. Keep an eye/ear out
  9. this is a question that is keeping me busy for the last few months! been staring at the corner where the efi comes of from the turbo from all angles possible but the space there is just so tight! I first thought of routing a filter to sit it behind the headlight but the abs unit is there... one day i will be able to answer this question and help millions!! ... wel at least a few guys on here
  10. congrats mate!! looks like a nice clean car with some choice mods. have fun with it and drive safe
  11. truly must say i don't get the part that people call this zorst loud(ish) all you guys prob running without a cat? i stil have my cat in place, mot required here, and as you here on that vid it's really quiet. Must say again it feels like it freed up some torque in the higher rev range. Oh yeah i also do have the baffle in place, gonna try without this weekend. The tailpipe was SLIGHTLY out of line with my JAM rear bumper, only had to bend the brackets a touch. Tailpipe itself is stupidly huge i must say, 4.5 inch indeed, but it fills out nicely in a jambumper so it's all good.
  12. Fitted this system beginning of the week, really happy with it. Gasket and bolts included, fitting was spot on. Idle is as stock, up till 3k its all quiet after that its a nice deep tone. Feel it pull more freely in the higher rev range This is with the baffle fitted. I got a vid on YouTube. On my iPhone now so can't look it up for you.
  13. will get on it asap, let you guys know what it is if i find the prob.
  14. Hi Luke, thing is the led-lights do light up but very weak, so it does register when door is opened. could it be the signal is to weak and spraying wd40 would solve it?
  15. without even having seen any pics i would say colourcode it! i think lips and spoilers etc should be colourcoded. *checks pictures* looks ok but i still think colourcoding it would make it look even better, red is hard to match so watch out for that!
  16. can't fault the JPerformance, just got it installed a few days, but really happy with it so far. pricewise it's great, fitting was really good and all bolts+seals.
  17. i'm 5'8 but fitting other seats that slide back further and give more support has been the best mod i have done so far! biggest problem i have with the original seats are that te seating part is to flat and to short, so your legs just hoover above them. current seats are a bit lower, seating slants a bit back and entire seat is positioned further back.
  18. thanks, really happy with it, should make a vid on how it sounds from the outside but it really pissing down at the moment.
  19. just a really short vid: JPerformance Exhaust EP91
  20. Hi guys, this is a strange thing maybe, but since i bought the car the interior light isn't working. Changed the bulb but still no light. bought a ledthingy a while ago and fitted that, to my suprise it worked but was giving only a TINY bit of light. suddenly last week late in the night i opened the cardoor and is was really bright!!(no not drunk) checked it out and it was the interior light indeed. worked like a charm for a couple of days and then suddenly now its back to the dull light again. it must be a lose wire or something, anybody had the same experience or could point out some wire
  21. awesome! nice and steady, better doing it once good then twice fast... or something in that line
  22. thanks sparky! i got these wheels really cheap, brandnew rims+tires, fitted and shipped for less then only the tires usually cost!
  23. i got dibs on the footwell lights from day one nah man just kiddin! Michel i repaired the other set off clear indicators, should meet soon
  24. thanks mate would be great, i got the same exhaust and was wondering about the noise levels. i like a sporty sound but i don't want to wake up the entire neighbourhood when i start up the car.
