Its pretty quiet in here and we don't really meet up to often which is a shame really. Where would the best location to organise a meet for all the welshys be? Whats everyone's thoughts on a monthly meet like some other clubs do. Even if there's only 5 or so of us its still better than nothing. Ryan
Craig, there's a cracking place in bridgend i've used for brake stuff. They can pretty much make anything up. Let me know what you need and i can call in there after work tommorrow if that's any help. My mate had 2 brake lines made up for his quad, made them for him at 5 o clock and charged a tenner!
Its not the brightness that's the problem really, it's that they don't align correctly due to the headlight not being designed for h.i.d's. This can cause the light to scatter. Some M.O.T testers will fail it some wont.
I had nout to do in the morning anyway so thought may aswell do it tidy first time round Some more small updates: My wind deflectors turned up today, not sure on the best way of fitting them though, so any advice would be great! Also bought a white TRD duracon knob (no pic)and some headrest covers, they may not be to everyone's fancy, but i like them and their nice and comfy too Tidy darts
Small update This morning i set about removing the Blitz dumpvalve. Firstly i removed the valve and piping it was attached to, which left me with this: I then had to make a blanking plate to cover the hole, which then looked like this: After rounding the edges down it then looked like this: Finished result back fitted to the car: Now here's where the problem was. The plate i had made was too thin so when i was on boost would lift slightly and cause a high pitch squeel. I had a rethink and made something else. Here's the final outcome, used a thicker plate and made a new gasket for it to seal better: Is what i've done with the pipe that came off the dump valve ok?? The car now sounds alot better imo without it and has a nice flutter/squirrel noise lol Also fitted an induction kit untill i relocate the air filter to the front Ryan

Mine is fitted to a solid metal pipe so i'm going to have to remove the dump valve and make a metal blanking plate instead of it. Also what do i do with the black pipe coming off it to the intake? and could i do any harm to the engine by doing all of this? Cheers for any help
So does the starlet have a recirculating dumpvalve standard that id need to refitt after taking off my VTA type or can i just remove mine and fitt pipe, bungs etc instead of it..
Sounds nice mate, that's how id prefer mine with more of a chatter rather than the whoosh bus brake noise. So just removing mine will give me more of a flutter without fitting a different one, is that what your saying?
