Got a. Few odds and ends done tonight drivers side overfenders and skirt full fitted and monted. A lot of tidying was done getting all my parts in the same place and talked my whole plan over with Mr badger who seems to like the sounds of it all

the head will be fine never seen one bend valves as they are a non contact engine. means the timing belt could snap and no damage would be done, my dad has a customer who has a 4efe corrola (miibs shape) has 300k on it broke the timing belt 3 times and still runs sweet good old toyota.

so over fenders are bolted and almost fully moulded on the drivers side looks amazing i think will get a few pics up in a few mins

Probably won't fit my n/a box as its a 6 bolt diff rather than the turbo 8 bolt but will.check it out.thanks

just 5efhe cams at the moment but im thinking maybe some custom billit cams my bro is running 5efhe cams in him 450bhp beast and there only starting to tail off about there. were hopeing to get the bodywork done while we wait be with only getting at it 1 night a week for a couple of hours doesnt help, yea im going all out on this i want it to be the quickest/highest bhp 4efe that we know of and i have been told that a highly tuned type R is running about 12.2/12.4 cr ratio

well after taling it over and getting some calculations done by east coast customs the new engine will be runnging higher compression ratio than a civic type R. will be running about 11.6 compression ratio compared to the standard 9.8 which is a good bit more and make it a bit more fun , also going to try to make it rev to about 8000rpm but will see what the engine want to do. should have my custom pistons in 8/10 weeks which is longer than i was hoping but its out of my hands now, once i get them engine will be build within a matter of days. bodywork is proving to be a nightmare also just

yea turbo box will fit but it has longer gearing so might effect the driving of the car

no that wont fit a ep91 non turbo as it's a 8 bolt pattern non turbo diffs and mk1 gt diffs have a six bolt pattern

make sure you can use the takatas with a bar first alot of harness's are just snap hooks for eye bolts
