  2. hmmmmmm this is what i was thinking, your going to need a bit of an impact on the lock ring to get to to move i spose? i just hope they have used a bit of initiative and put something on it to soak over night he is a good mechanic so im sure he would have done something cheers anyway mate
  3. phaha, mines in the garage aswell getting the ksports fitted and i have coilover problems so now im not even sure if im going to make it
  4. lol, sounds good to me dude to be fair im not even sure if they have put any force behind it in the form of a hammer etc, i think from the way they described they havent moved on from trying with the c spanners i did sort of say spray a shit load of wd40 on it an leave it over night then see what happens in the morning

Car has gone in to have the ksports fitted but due to the offset of my wheel it means im needing some spacers but in order to get the spacer on and have enough room in between the arch and tyre im going to have to raise it up at the front slightly but as per usual nothing ever goes to fucking plan and the garage have just rang to say they cant budge my near side coilover to adjust it They have tried various fluids and even a bit of heat but nothing Does any one have any tips/ideas?
  6. try changing ball joints mate if you havent already, i think over time they have a tendancy to have a bit of play in them and make your steering wheel feel really lose when you turn whilst going over a small bump kinda like you have described
  7. ^^ customise your own brackets so the core sits as far back as it can go
  8. the only thing i noticed when i changed to my hdi fmic (a massive core) was the change in noise from the turbo there was no change in spool what so ever plus you have the added bonus of the looks and if you were ever to upgrade the turbo you wouldn't have to waste time faffing as an fmic you already be in place

  10. The diff inside also varies between mk1 gt's & n/a's and the later gt's/ glanza's in that the bolt count is 6 instead of 8 so if you come to fit a quaife in an early gt box you might run into difficulty
  11. £200 is a lot of difference to have between the 2 mate! But as said check before you rush in to anything I received mine from TD the other day and are worth every penny

  14. i can do indeed mate i might maybe look into getting the rear flared then cuz if im getting the 30mm spacers i dont want it to look to out of place not even sure if an offset of et15 will suit my style of wheel to be honest, i did want 20mm on the back and 15mm on the front but cant find the right spacers
  15. yeh im looking at HR hucentric spacers do you mean without getting them rolled mate? i have a stripped rear and coilovers the same as said mate, they come with there own studs
  16. £150 for all 4 mate arch enemy (i know they are expensive) as far as i know its just a roll, i must have a look into what the difference is
  17. trying to decide what spacers to get in order to get my k-sports in without comprimising the handling etc......... the wheels i have at the moment have an offset of et45 so with the 30mm on the back would make them et15 which is still smaller than alot of rota's will have 20 on the front i think oh and the car is booked in to have the arches rolled on saturday
  18. in need of some 15mm hubcentric spacers and am unsure of what decent ones are out there Can someone point me in the right direction please?
