went to get my tracking done today after having some new tyres fitted but the bloke couldnt do it on one side as one of the nuts had started to round off and i told him not to risk it incase he fucked it up lol along with new track rod ends, what else can i renew in that kinda area? it doesnt make alot of sense to me shall i get some new inner rods, ball joints or lower ball joints? i dont even know what parts they are! lol HELP

i think i might remove the B.O.V to be honest, its only a baileys one so i doubt it would make much difference wether its there or not and when i come round to doing it, what can i use to block up the hole on the intercooler pipes?

lol, the diff will help no end mate plus there are always other things you can get to help like an anti lift kit ( although some people think they are pointless) etc i imagine the 2 wheels will be fine, there is a few people around putting big power through the front and they manage to cope plus its about how you put the power down anyway ;) lol i bet you cant wait bud, i get excited when i get her back after a week let alone 4 months! and she will be an animal when you get her back

ask weejohn mate, he seems to know quite alot about the 4wd system and is running one himself although its an ep85, not sure how different the system on an ep95 is! can always convert to using gt4 running gear ;)

is the 4wd system not all that good? i heard it would struggle to cope with a decent amount of power! anything over 260ish and it would fail

y not just buy the engine?

how would you go about making them? would you start with a decent set of sliders and weld fittings to suit or start from scratch and make a whole new frame? i imagine if sold for off road use only, people will still use them for daily driving and if this is the case...................would they be safe?

Thanks for the advice guys i think the plan could be to ask the sellers very nicely to either mark the package as a gift or say that its of a lesser value than it actually is ;) if its 20% +4% its gonna cost me another £150 or so on top of the cost of the item

emanage blue/ultimate are piggy backs but would be fine for what you have and would sufice if you were to upgrade parts but you need a front mount ;) having the emange would also cure your fuel cut problem and would make your car run sweeter

if i was to get a batch made up, i have found a place that does vehicle saftey testing and providing i had a seat to bolt to the rails, they can test every single one for me............................but obviously this would cost, and the cost of the testing i would probably have to add on to the cost of the rails

^^^ thats what i thought mate, and they would be exact copies made from decent sliders with the the obvious ep82/91 mounts a ready made frame for a quick swap of seats, no cutting/welding involved! surely they would be safer than that?

thinking of importing a couple of bits from japland but am a bit in the dark as to what kinda import charges id be hit with?? have had a little read of some articles and a couple of them say that theoretically, if the part cannot be obtained at all in the uk then you should not have to pay any kind of import charge. is this true? if so, how could i prove that i couldn't get the part here?

Thats fair enough mate, it was purely to see if the interest was out there and by the looks of things everyone has got the the same point of view as you and idrees so i may just knock it on the head! looks like im going to have to buy the bullet and spend lol! but as you say, safety is much more important than saving a couple of quid I'll leave to the clever industrious little fellows that hail from the motherland ;)

yeh they would be tested mate, i wouldnt want them if they werent tested! im not trying to run a group buy, its purely just putting the idea out there to see if any one would be interested and then il see if i can move things forward
